Mahadeva Temple in Pushkar

Built back in the 19th century, Mahadeva Temple is one of the most famous temples in Pushkar. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahadeva or Lord Shiva. The temple is well-known for its architectural style. Mahadeva Temple is considered one of the finest temples in and around Pushkar.

There is a statue of Lord Shiva with five faces in the temple. The entire statue is made of white marble and is decorated with beautiful ornaments. There are numerous sculptures and carvings around the shrine which feature images of different Hindu deities.

The courtyard of the temple is architecturally beautiful. The courtyard features pink pillars which are elaborately decorated. The temple is daily visited by a number of devotees who come to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
