Thakurani Radha Rani Ji

A long time ago, a Brahmin took the sacred image of Radharani, a symbol of divine love, to Orissa to protect it from destruction. There, she was worshiped as Lakshmi Thakurani, the goddess of wealth. In 1690 AD, upon hearing of Lord Govind Devji’s presence in Vrindavan, the king of Radhanagar sent the image of Radharani to be reunited with him.
