Ghanta Ghar in Laxmangarh is an ancient clock tower in the village of Laxmangarh. Nestled amidst this distant village of Rajasthan, the Ghanta Ghar recreates the charm and aura of the medieval age. Laxmangarh in Rajasthan is considered to be the mini Jaipur of Shekhawati. Built in the year 1862, Laxmangarh was planned around 200 years ago by Rao Raja Laxman Singh of Sikar. The Laxmangarh fortress is the most important monument in this place. The Ghanta Ghar is one of the clock towers which was built ages back and reminds you the grandeur and glory of the Rajput era.

From temples to Havelis there are a number on interesting tourist places which attracts tourists to this city. The Ghanta Ghar is one of them. Located close to the city of Mandawa, Laxmangarh is just around 190 kilometers from Jaipur. The Ghanta Ghar,  is a major tourist place which was used earlier to calculate the time but now it is merely one of the historical monuments of Laxmangarh. The Ghanta Ghar reminds you of the time of the rich grandeur and splendor of the Rajput era. From temples to forts Laxmangarh has a number of interesting tourist places. Built upon scattered pieces of big boulders and rocks the Laxmangarh fortress is unique among the Monuments in Rajasthan India. On the northern side of the cave is the Char Chowk Haveli. The Haveli is a storehouse of an exquisite collection of paintings. From walls to the ceilings, the Char Chowk Haveli is adorned with beautiful paintings. Excellent mirror work and images of mythological character accentuates the beauty of the Haveli.

Beside the Haveli is the Radha Murlimanohar Temple which was built in the year 1845. On the south of this temple is main bazaar which also bears its medieval aura. If you have a penchant for art objects you can visit this bazaar during your tour to the Ghanta Ghar.

There are other temples and Havelis in the Laxmangarh which attracts tourists from all over but the Ghanta Ghar is one of the most famous monuments in Rajasthan.
