History of Moti Dungri temple

Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur built the Moti Dungri temple in the 18th century. The temple has a fascinating story behind it that involves the King of Mewar. It is said that the king was returning home in his cart, carrying a statue of Lord Ganesha. The cart stopped at the hill of Dungri, and despite several attempts, no one could move it.
