One of the main storehouses of the historical objects and ancient artifacts of Bikaner, Prachina Bikaner Cultural Center and Museum was founded in 2000 by the daughter of Late Maharaja Narendra Singhji of Bikaner, Siddhi Kumari. With the starting of a new millennium, her chief aim was to conserve the rich cultural variety of Bikaner and to put on display Bikaner’s monolithic identity.

You can also spot the furniture of the royalty including beautiful chandeliers and vases.

Cultural Center

The Bikaner culture center is the promotion of the local artists where they are provided a platform to showcase their special work of art. This center also works for the development of the renewal of folk art (performing art) of the Marwar region. The center also takes care of the paperwork of the collection of the museum and the heritage of the former princely state. There is a culture shop too where the visitors can buy local craft items. At the library of the culture center, an excellent collection of books on the rich culture and the history of art of Bikaner can be found.
