Ganga Dussehra is a bathing festival that is celebrated for ten days. During this festival, the Ganga river is worshiped along with offerings and bhajans. According to popular legend, Ganga descended on earth at this time. She was initially reluctant to come down from heaven, but the meditation of Bhagiratha compelled her to do so.

How to Celebrate Ganga Dussehra in Uttarakhand?
