Sanchi is a perfect Buddhist pilgrim and heritage destination of India. It is mainly famous for Shanti Stupa. The town stays mildly hot throughout the year, and soars up in the summers. The best time to visit Sanchi is between the months of October and March, when the weather stays at its best. Temperature during this time ranges between 15 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius.

Sanchi in summer – From April till June
Summer is hot and humid and lasts for four months. The maximum temperature recorded is 45 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius. Avoid visiting the town at this time, if you do then carry some light cotton wears with sun reflectors.
Sanchi in Monsoon – From July to September
The monsoon at Sachi is marked by mild drizzle to heavy showers, the place come alive with the touch of water. The beauty of the place is at its best around, but not totally a safe time to visit as there are possibilities of landslides.
Sanchi in winter – From October till March
The temperature drops down to 10 degrees Celsius at night, but in the daytime the temperature remains comfortable and pleasing with the maximum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. Winter is the best time to explore the Ashoka remains at leisure. There are some festivals that you can attend too at this time.
