Paradesi Synagogue- In a small area of Jew Town, the Paradesi Synagogue, which dates back more than a century, is home to numerous priceless artifacts. The synagogue, which attracts lots of tourists, adds to Mattancherry’s small-town charm.

Kadavumbagam Synagogue- Near Kerala’s Ernakulam district, the Kavumbhagam Synagogue in Mattancherry is a Jewish house of worship. It was constructed some time after 1549. A few centuries later, it was abandoned and turned into a warehouse. Currently, all that is left of a once-grand building is the shell.

Thekkumbhagom Synagogue- A synagogue known as Thekkumbhagam Mattancherry Synagogue, also known as Thekkumbhagam Synagogue, was situated in Mattancherry Jew Town, a neighborhood of Kochi, Kerala, in South India. It was erected in 1647. One of the earliest recorded synagogues in India was built by the Malabar Jews on land given by the Maharajah of Cochin.

Vallarpadam Church, Kochi– Mother Mary, affectionately known as Vallarpadath Amma here, is honored at the spectacular white structure known as the Vallarpadam Church in Kochi. According to legend, Vallarpadath Amma has repeatedly magically protected her worshippers from violent storms developing in the sea. The Church of Our Lady Ransom and the National Shrine Basilica of Our Lady of Ransom are additional names for this shrine.

Malayattoor Church– The St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, also called the Malayattoor Church and located in Kochi’s northeast, is one of the most well-known sites of worship in the city. It’s interesting to note that it’s one of Kochi’s most visited attractions.

Santa Cruz Basilica– It won’t be an exaggeration to say that the Santa Cruz Basilica is Kochi, Kerala’s most stunning church. It is one of the eight basilicas in the nation and is situated in Fort Kochi. The Portuguese originally constructed this cultural shrine, which was established back in 1505, but the British later tore it down.

St. Francis Church– Old Christian Shrine St. Francis Church has a fascinating past. This historic church, which was first built in 1503, has survived the ups and downs of European colonial rule in the nation. This shrine was initially made from wood before being rebuilt in 1516 using stone and brick.

Nadamel Marth Mariam Church– Do you feel like visiting a historic church that formerly attracted members of the local aristocracy? The Nadamel Marth Mariam Church in Kochi is where you must go next. It was customary for the Cochin royal family’s heirs to personally make an offering at this location when they assumed the throne.
