Allahabad is a city which is located at the confluence of the three holy rivers of Ganga, Saraswati and Yamuna. The Sangam is one of the major Tourist Attraction in Allahabad. This is the point where the three rivers meet. Another Tourist Attraction, Allahabad is the Allahabad Fort. The Allahabad Fort is located on the northern banks of river Yamuna. Akbar built the Allahabad Fort in 1583. Anand Bhawan is a building in Allahabad with a great importance to the visitors. This building is considered as a Tourist Attraction of Allahabad because of the fact that the first Prime minister of India resided here. This building has been transformed into a museum of its kind which houses the Nehru-Gandhi family’s memorabilia.

Swaraj Bhawan is situated close to Anand Bhawan. This is the house where Mrs. Indira Gandhi, one of the Prime ministers of India was born. This building was built by Pt. Moti Lal Nehru. In the year 1930, the Swaraj Bhawan was donated to the nation and served as the headquarters of the Congress Committee. Today, the Jawaharlal Nehru Trust is housed here in this building.

The Hanuman Mandir is also a famous Tourist Attraction, Allahabad and people visit this place while on a tour to Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. The temple is noted for the idol of the lord Hanuman in a reclined posture.

Alfred Park is also a must visit Tourist Attraction in Allahabad. Alfred Park is the largest park in Allahabad. A huge statue of George V and Victoria stands in the center of the Alfred Park.

Khusrau Bagh is a major Tourist Attraction in Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh in India. The park houses the tomb of Prince Khusru, son of Emperor Jahangir

Minto Park as it was called and now more popular as the Madan Mohan Malaviya Park should also be on the list of the “must-visit” places in Allahabad. Minto Park is situated near Saraswati Ghat in Yamuna.

Allahabad Museum is located near Chandra Shekhar Azad Park. The Allahabad Museum is an important Tourist Attraction, Allahabad as it houses some rare pieces of art. The paintings of Nicholas Roerich, terracotta figurines, Rajasthani miniatures are places here, apart from that coins and stone sculptures from the second century BC to modern times are also places here in this museum. There are eighteen galleries in the museum.
