The museum is storehouse to some of historic objects, district’s ecological details, intricate art works and sculptures of Tamil Nadu. The visiting hours during first half of the day is from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and in second half from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Also, the museum is closed on National holidays, Fridays and second Saturdays of the month.
