Built in the memory of Hazrat Ali, who was the son in law of prophet Muhammed, way back in the period of Asif Jahis, the Chote Hazrat Ki Dargah is a popular and sanctified pilgrimage center for the Muslims.

History of Chote Hazrat Ki Dargah Masjid
There is an interesting history of the Chote Hazrat Ki Dargah Masjid in Hyderabad. Yakoob, a eunuch of Ibrahim Quli’s court saw Hajrat Ali in his dreams. On a hilltop he saw the same impression of his palm on a stone, the kind he saw in the dream. He carved out the impression and places it in a shrine. There was an arch built over the spot. It was Ibrahim Shah who later built a mosque parallel to the Dargah.
