French Quarter, Pondicherry

Stunning yellow buildings marked with white outlines arrayed gracefully, narrating the tale of the French; French Quarter is the charm of Pondicherry.  This is where thousands of locals and traveler are magnetized to.

The French Quarter is also known as White Town, Black town and Indian Town. Off course as its name suggests, the architecture, the aura and most of the dialect here is heavily under French influence. There are bungalows and buildings that speak of the legendary past (The period of French Colonization).

A heritage walk through this town is highly recommended, as the ambience of this sort cannot be felt anywhere else in India.
