National Science Center Museum, New Delhi is a constituent unit of an autonomous body National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). It is governed by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India. Introduced on the 9th of January 1992 by the then Prime Minister of India, the National Science Center Museum, New Delhi has made science a popular subject in India.

The National Science Center Museum comprises eight permanent halls replete with interesting and hands-on participatory exhibits. The first gallery on the third floor deals with Indian Heritage and includes science and technology. There is a Human Biology Gallery and the Gallery on Being Human. There is also a Prehistoric Life in the third floor which portrays the march of evolution from the day life started on earth.

For fun with education, children can visit the Fun Science Gallery which explains the basic fundamentals of science. There is a gallery on the first floor that portrays the march of Information Revolution – from cave paintings to the Internet. Other galleries include Digital Information Revolution, gallery on Emerging Technologies and so on.
