September through November is considered the best time to visit Tamdil Lake Mizoram. However, we also see visitors visiting the popular lake in Aizawl at other times of the year.
How to reach Tamdil Lake
There is no direct route to Tamdil Lake as such. Visitors generally first reach Kolasib town, from there, they take a bus to Silchar and then again take a bus from Silchar to Haflong. Finally, from Haflong, one can reach Tamdil by bus.
