The festival centers around the pilgrimage to Kurisumudi (Hill of the Holy Cross), where St. Thomas is believed to have prayed. Pilgrims climb the steep hill while chanting “Ponninkurisumala Muthappa” (Father of the Golden Cross Hill) to reach the holy shrine at the summit. The church houses:- A life-size statue of St. Thomas

When is Malayattoor Perunnal Celebrated?
