Lacquered papier mache or Nakarshi is a splendid design in which five layers of multihued lacquer are painted one over the other. The scenes of hunting, frolicking animals, and flowered carpets are some of the requisite items for paint. These products are mainly used for making lamp bases, wall hangings, and artistic boxes on sale at Mansar Food and Crafts Mela.
