Abhyanga– It involves circular strokes on the joints and long strokes on the long bones. A warm medicated oil is poured over the entire body for a soothing massage. The pressure of the strokes can vary as per the patient needs.

Asana– It improves body's vitality and flexibility. It is nothing but practicing of some postures of Yoga.

Avagaaham– In this, patient sits in avagaaham tub containing decoction of herbs. It is very effective in treating sciatica, backache, disk prolapse etc.

Bahya Vasti– Warm medicated oil is stored in a boundary made up of paste of urad dal. This boundary is made over the specific part of the body and the oil is kept in it for a specific time.

Bandha– Bandha stands for a lock. It simply blocks the energy flow to a particular area of the body. It eliminated old dead cells. It is of four types.

  • Mula Bandha– Anal Lock
  • Jalandhar Bandha– Chin lock
  • Uddiyana Bandha– Lifting of the Diaphgram
  • Maha Bandha– Combination of all of the three

Brimhana– It improves nourishment, height and weight.

Deha Dhara– It takes place in three steps.

  • Step 1– Pouring of herbal warm milk or oil over the body.
  • Step 2– Two therapists carry out a full body Marma point massage in a synchronized manner.

Gandoosham– Gargling of warm medicinal liquid.

Kati Vasti– A result oriented therapy for lower back and spinal problems. 'Kati' means waist and 'Vasti' stands of holding of warm oil. Thus, a boundary of an herbal paste containing warm medicated oil is made over the waist area.
