Paragliding Festival Saputara

If adventure activities are what you like, Paragliding festival in Saputara in Gujarat is the place to be. The Tourism Department of Gujarat along with private partners had put efforts to introduce a unique festival which celebrates adventure. The festival started in the year 2010. It is a 26-day long festival and takes place between December-January, in Saputara.

More than 5000 entries are received in this festival every year and more than 16 paragliding pilots teach tourists how to fly. Both adults and kids can partake in the activities of their interties. Apart from paragliding, other amusements like parasailing, bike riding, zorbing ball, Go-karting, jumping Mickey Mouse, and motor roller are also available for a affordable fee.

The idea behind this festival is the promotion of Saputara as a paragliding destination. Saputara is a beautiful hill-station where an activity like paragliding is a must try.  Both men and women become a part of this festival in huge numbers.
