Hari Har Dham is located at a place called Bagodar in Giridih. Giridih is a beautiful township in the midst of hills and knolls in Jharkhand and is located 60 kilometers north-west of Bokaro. The accurate meaning of Giridih is ‘giri’ which means hills and hillocks and the word ‘dih’ in the local language, means upland. Hence the name of the place came into being.
Description:
The sacredness of this place lies in the 62 feet high Shiva Lingam which is the tallest in the world. The place is stretched over a sprawling area of 25 acres of land. Surrounded by rivers, the place is rested against a picture-perfect background. Shrawan Purnima is observed here. Shrawan Purnima is the full moon night in the holy month of Shrawan. It is the month of festivals and pious rituals. The fifth day of the bright half of the holy month is the day of ritual cobra worship, called Nag Panchami.

During the Shrawan Purnima every year people from all over the country gather in this place to celebrate the occasion.
