How to Reach Puttaparthi

The holy town of Puttaparthi is the abode of Shri Satya Sai Baba, the spiritual guru. Satya Sai Baba a lot of infrastructural advancement here. By Air

Puttaparthi has its own domestic airport, known as Sri Satya Sai Airport. This airport is just 4 km from the Satya Sai Ashram. This airport has bi-weekly flights from Chennai and Mumbai. From the airport, a bus is available to reach the Ashram.

By Road

Traveling to Puttaparhy by road is quite easy. There are private and APSRTC buses between Puttaparthi and nearby destinations like Ananthapur (84 km), Bangalore (156 km), and Hyderabad (472 km). Renting a taxi is another option for a comfortable journey.

By Rail

Satya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Railway Station is just 8 km from the Ashram and is well-connected to important destinations of India such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bubhaneshwar. The nearest major railway station is in Dharmavaram, 45 km from here. Regular state-run buses connect this railway station to Puttaparthi.
