The safari timing in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is usually between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm. The cost of a safari for Indian tourists is INR 25 and 200 for foreigners. However, the charge of the Rickshaw safari depends on the hour of the tour as per your desire. The price for a rickshaw safari ranges between 500-1000. If you are willing to visit through private vehicles, it is allowed only up to Shant Kutir, a point 2 km away from the main entrance.

Essential Information for your Safari in Bharatpur National Park

• There are tourist centers outside the Sanctuary’s main entrance to book Jeeps for safari.
• It is advised that reach half an hour early at the gate for the entry procedures and formalities.
• October to February is the perfect time to witness the migratory birds in the Bharatpur sanctuary.
• It is better to listen to every instruction of your guide throughout the safari. 
• It is a must that you maintain a distance from the flora and fauna of the national park.
