Belur Math Shrine Kolkata

One of the most beautiful shrines and a perfect place to enjoy some serene moments is the Belur Math. Located on the right bank of River Hoogly, the temple is just a few minutes’ drive from Kolkata. The temple represents the Universal faith and symbolizes the great Indian religions. You can also see the white marble statue of Sri Ramakrishna which is put-up on a lotus with hundred petals with a Damaru base (two headed drum). Swami Vivekananda Temple

The Swami Vivekananda Temple stands on the spot where Swami Vivekananda’s mortal remains were cremated in 1902.

The Ramakrishna Museum is home to some of the objects used by Ramakrishna, Sarad Devi and Swami Vivekananda. It is a great place for history lovers.
