Located in the east Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, Konaseema is known for its magnificent landscape, artistic temples, lush greenery, swaying palm trees and fields. The River Godavari is situated on one side and the Bay of Bengal on the other. The region is immaculate & verdant and one can find many agricultural fields around. One of the most fertile lands in the Coromandel Coast, Konaseema is home to many fields of cashew, mangoes and paddy. Owing to its proximity to the Bay of Bengal, the region is prone to cyclones. Another important aspect of Konaseema is its cuisine, which is a tasteful blend of local delicacies and fresh sea food. During the Kartika Masamm, many religious festivals are celebrated in the region. One can witness small camphor lamps floating in the river during the pre-dawn hours.

Sree Veereswara Swamy Temple

Located in the Muramalla village of the East Godavari District of Konaseema, Sree Veereswara Swamy Temple attracts large number of devotees from far-off places. A daily Pooja called ‘Nityakalyanam’ is performed at the temple.

Antharvedi Narasimha Swami Temple

Situated in the Antharvedi village of the East Godavari district, Antharvedi Narasimha Swami Temple is positioned opposite to the Vashishtha Sevashram. It was built somewhere during the 15th and 16th century. A famous religious fair is celebrated on Bheeshma Ekadasi in the months of January and February.

Ainavilli Siddhi Vinayaka Temple

Located 14 kilometers away from Amalapuram near Konaseema, The Ainavilli Siddhi Vinayaka Temple features two entrance gates that leads to the shrines of two different deities. While one entrance gate leads to the shrine of Siddhi Vinayaka, the other entrance gate leads to the shrine of Sri Visveswara Swamy.

Appanapalli Temple

Also known as Shri Bala Balaji Devasthanam, Appanapalli Temple is regarded as the second Tirupati, a holy abode of Lord Balaji. The temple is nestled on the banks of River Ganges and is encompassed by paddy fields, coconut trees and mango groves. Brahmotsavam Festival is celebrated at this temple every year.

Ryali Jagan Mohini Kesava Swamy Temple

Located in the Ryali village on the East Godavari district, Ryali Jagan Mohini Kesava Swamy Temple features the idol of Lord Jaganmohini Kesava Swamy. The shrine of Sri Jagan Mohini Kesava Swamy is made up of a single Saligram Stone (5 feet height and 3 feet width).
