How to Reach Kappad from Bangalore
By Train
The nearest railway station to Kappad is in Kozhikode, 18.8 km away. You can board a train from Bangalore to Kozhikode (Calicut). Once at the station, you can rent a cab or board a bus to Kappad.
By Air
The nearest airport is located in Kozhikode, around 41.4 km from the town of Kappad. This is the best option for those arriving by air, as there are frequent flights to the airport from many parts of the country. Taxis are available for hire from outside the airport.
By Road
The best option is to hire a taxi from Bangalore as Kappad. Drive along the well-maintained national highway. You can take a deviation from Thamarassery (after Wayanad) towards Balussery or Ulliyeri to arrive at Kappad. The other option is to drive on the Calicut highway towards Kozhikode and then arrive in Kappad. The other option is to go aboard a state-run or a private bus.
