Aundha Nagnath
Referred to as the 8th of the 12 Jyortirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, Aundha Nagnath temple was probably erected by Yudhishthir, the eldest of the Pandava brothers, while they were on their 14 year exile. This magnificent temple has beautiful carvings and its architecture is based on the Hemadpanthi style of architecture. Spread in 60,000 sq ft of land, this temple bustles with major activity during Shivratri and Vijayadashami festive celebrations.
Sant Namdev Sansthan
Placed in the Narsi village, Sant Namdev Sansthan is known as the birthplace of Shree Mandev, the popular Sant or Sage of the region. Also known as Namdev Damaji Relekar, he was born in the year 1270. This sacred site bustles with devotee activity during its yearly festival, organized in the memory of the saint.
Mallinath Digambar Jain Temple
Placed in Shirad Shahapur village, the Mallinath Digambar Jain Temple is quite popular for housing a 300-yr old idol of Lord Mallinath. This idol was formerly placed in Ardhapur but after taking permission from the Nizam, it was brought here by Bhattaraka Shree Premanand. He built this temple and established the Lord’s idol here.
Tulaja Devi Sansthan
Built way back around 125 years ago, the Tulaja Devi Sansthan was founded by Swami Keshavraj. He had founded a beautiful idol of Tulja Bhavani during axcavation and wished to establish it. This temple is managed by a trust that was formed in the year 1967. This sansthan also offers scholarships to students, residence for its pilgrims and health services as well.
Bhagwan Shantinath Jinalaya
Another village in the Shirad Shahapur village, Bhagwan Shantinath Jinalaya is a well-known Jain temple. The temple, made of marble has the idol of Bhagwan Shantinath in a standing position. The temple complex also consists of a white-color idol of Mahavir, the last Jain Tirthankara and also the idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath.
