Following breakfast, embark on a comprehensive tour of Delhi. After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century and later deserted due to water scarcity. This remarkably preserved red sandstone city showcases a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural elements. Explore the Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza (Victory Gate), Panch Mahal (five-story palace), and various pavilions.

Continue your journey to Jaipur, known as the “Pink City” for its distinctive rose-colored buildings. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to begin exploring this vibrant city independently or to shop in the colorful local markets known for textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. Overnight in Jaipur.

After breakfast, begin your exploration with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-story façade with 953 small windows designed to allow royal ladies to observe street festivities without being seen. Continue to the magnificent Amber Fort located on a hilltop. You may choose to ride an elephant up to the fort’s entrance (optional, at additional cost), experiencing the same royal approach used by maharajas centuries ago.

Later, visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace) situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, with four of its five stories submerged when the lake is full. Explore the City Palace complex, which continues to be the residence of the royal family and houses a museum with an impressive collection of miniature paintings, costumes, and armor.

Visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the early 18th century, featuring the world’s largest stone sundial and other precision instruments that remain accurate to this day. If time permits, you may choose to explore Jaipur’s vibrant bazaars independently or visit the Govind Dev Ji Temple, an important Vaishnava shrine located in the City Palace complex. After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Depending on your onward plans, transfer to Jaipur Airport for your departure flight or drive back to Delhi (additional time required).
