Its 32 well-equipped cabins are classified as 20 air-conditioned luxury passenger rooms with attached bathroom (135 square feet), 12 Luxury Family Rooms (165 square feet), and 1 Queen Suite. Amenities available onboard include king size beds, air-conditioning with individual controller, Intercom facility, tea and coffee maker and Intercom facility. Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Aboard the Cruise in Kolkata

Welcome onboard! Sailing on the calm waters, your sightseeing trip starts with Mother Teresa’s home and memorial. Thereafter, you will visit the Missionaries of Charity orphanage, founded by Mother Teresa.

In the evening, enjoy a cultural performance on board

After enjoying the day, return to the cruise, savor the delicious dinner, and head to your luxury room for a restful sleep.

Day 2: Explore Historical Marvels of Kolkata

Enjoy an early morning city-tour of the monumental structures in Kolkata that ooze colonial charm. Start with the wonderful Victoria Memorial Museum. Once, you have witnessed the reminders of the British Raj from 17th to 19th centuries, head to the Bandel’s Imambara. Standing on the river bank, the Imambara is a pilgrim rest house and an Islamic school since the colonial times.

Return to the cruise and refuel yourself with a delectable dinner, followed by a sound sleep in your cozy room.

Day 3: Visit Kalna - the Temple Town

Greet the day with a toothsome breakfast and proceed to visit the Rajbari temples in Kalna. This is a small town on the bank of the Hooghly River (Ganges), almost 82 km from Kolkata. A hidden gem, Kalna is dotted by 18th century temples, adorned with intricate terracotta tiles that speak high of the finest specimens of Bengal terracotta architecture. A majority of these temples are arranged in the Rajbari Complex maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

After a blissful day at this temple town, return to the cruise. Relish the sumptuous dinner and sleep to the lullaby of the waves.

Day 4: Head to Matiari Village

Begin your day with an early morning walk on the shore side village of Matiari, which is also known as a brass working village. Its history is a century old. Here, you can see the process of beating out brass water pots and other vessels.

Return to the cruise, enjoy dinner, and sleep restfully.

Day 5: Off to Khushbagh, Baranagar, and Murshidabad

Have a nutritious breakfast and get ready to explore Khushbagh - the resting place of the Nawabs. Nawab Alivardi Khan created Khushbagh – the garden of happiness, which was among the finest in the region. It was so dear to him that he asked to be buried in it. After exploring this beautiful garden that has immense historical significance and places to see, you will move to visit Baranagar.

The place is known for its beautiful terracotta temples, the most notable being Char Bangla temple and the Gangeswar temple. Thereafter, you will board the cruise again and sail to Murshidabad. Here, you will visit the vast Neo-Classical Hazarduari Palace built in the 19th century by a British architect.

After a day well-spent at the marvels of West Bengal, return to the cruise for relaxation, dinner, and a reviving sleep.

Day 6: Seek Blessings at the Temples of Mayapur

After having a scrumptious breakfast, deboard the cruise at Mayapur – the world headquarters of the ISKCON to explore its enigmatic beauty. The place is situated adjacent to Nabadwip, at the confluence of two rivers, where the river Jalangi amalgamates with the Ganga. It is famous for attractions like Chandrodaya Temple (first temple established by ISKCON in Mayapur), Samadhi of Prabhupada (temple dedicated to the founder of ISKCON), and Shree Chaitanyamath (the birth place of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu).

Walk through the pilgrims’ bazaar to buy home souvenirs before heading back to the cruise. Savor lip-smacking dinner and sleep peacefully in your room.

Day 7: Visit Chandernago- The Forgotten French Colony

Arise to a wholesome morning meal and set off to explore Chandernagore – the erstwhile French colony. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river-side promenade, where the Indo-French Cultural Centre and Museum invite you.

Thereafter, hop on to the cruise again. Enjoy your time onboard, relish dinner, and doze-off as the cruise sails to Kolkata.

Day 8: The Cruise Tour Culminates in Kolkata

Enjoy your breakfast and disembark the cruise, followed by a transfer to the Kolkata airport or hotel. From there, board your flight back home with fond memories.
