Valley of Flower & Hemkund Sahib Package Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar
Your Valley of Flowers trek with Hemkund Sahib begins as soon as you arrive at Delhi Railway Station. Our representative will pick you up and transfer you to Haridwar (4 hours approx.). On your way, stop for lunch. Once you reach Haridwar, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. After freshening up, proceed to explore Haridwar. Visit Har-ki-Pauri, a famous ghat on the banks of the holy river Ganga.
Attend the evening Ganga Aarti. It is performed by priests in which lakhs of people take part and seek blessings from the supreme beings. Then, after the aarti ends, come back to the hotel for dinner and a night of relaxing sleep.
Day 2: Haridwar - Joshimath
Start your day early with a fulfilling breakfast. Then, check out and proceed towards Joshimath. Located at the height of 6150 feet, Joshimath is a beautiful city that provides a gateway to trekking trails, Himalayan mountain climbing expeditions, and pilgrim spots like Badrinath.
En route, stop by Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnprayag - all life at the confluence of River Alaknanda. Once you reach Joshimath, check in to the hotel and rest. Then, explore the nearby area and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: Joshimath - Govindghat - Ghangaria
Have breakfast and check out on day 3 of your Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Then, leave for Ghangaria to Govindghat. Located on the confluence of River Pushpawati and River Hemganga (also called Lakshman Ganga), Gangharia is a significant stopover for travelers visiting the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Also, it is the last human settlement in the Bhyundar Valley.
You will be dropped off at Govindghat, from where you will trek to reach Ghangaria village. On reach, check-in at the hotel. Then, recharge yourself for your Hemkund Sahib trek the next day.
Day 4: Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria
Wake up early to start your Hemkund Sahib trek from Ghangaria. It is a highly revered place for Sikh devotees that visit here every year in large numbers. Trek to Hemkund Sahib, 12 km in total (two-way). Enjoy beautiful views of the valley en route. On reaching, seek blessings of the divine and return to Ghangaria on time. Then, slide under the sheets for a sound sleep at the hotel.
Day 5: Ghangaria - Valley of flowers - Ghangaria
Today, you will trek to the Valley of Flowers. So, after a light breakfast, start your 4 km trek (one way). Witness the scenic valley that houses rare animals like musk deer, brown bears, blue sheep, etc. There are also a wide variety of butterflies that lightens up the area. Spend time here soaking in the natural beauty and exploring meadows filled with various flowers and other vegetation species. Afterward, come back to the village of Ghangaria to enjoy a comfortable stay for the night.
Day 6: Ghangaria - Govindghat - Rudraprayag
Wake up to the fresh air and natural sounds. Have your breakfast, and then check out. Leave Ghangaria and proceed towards Govindghat (13 km). Once reached, our representative will drive you to Rudraprayag (4 hours). On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and spend a comfortable overnight.
Day 7: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar
Savor a delicious breakfast in the morning in your hotel room. Then, check out from the hotel and get assisted to Haridwar. En route, explore the local sightseeing of Rishikesh. Then, continue your drive to Haridwar. Finally, check-in at the hotel and retire for the day.
Day 8: Departure from Delhi
This is the last day of your Valley of Flowers with Hemkund Sahib tour. After a leisurely breakfast, check out from Haridwar hotel and proceed for a local temple tour. Later in the day, drive to Delhi and get transferred to the railway station or airport. Finally, go back home with pleasant memories and an experience you will cherish forever.
