Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Arrival at Haridwar – Joshimath (281 km/ 7.8 hours)

Arrive in Haridwar, here you'll meet our representative, who'll drive you to Joshimath. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lofty peaks and mesmerizing landscape along the way. Once you reach the pre-listed hotel in Joshimath, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. If time permits, head straight for local sightseeing in and around the city. Later, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Joshimath – Auli (by Ropeway)

On day 2 of your Uttarakhand Family Tour Package, have breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out formalities to visit Auli by ropeway. You can visit major hotspots such as the Narasimha Temple and Shankaracharya Cave on the way. Then, proceed towards the ropeway to reach Auli hotel (the guest has to pay for the ropeway tickets directly). Later, you need to catch the Chair lift (on a direct payment basis) to cover the main attraction 360-degree view of Auli.

Trek through the way to visit Gurso Bugyal, from where you can get magnificent views of Trishul Peak, Dron Parvat, and Nanda Devi, adding to its beauty. Further, visit Chattrakund, a pristine lake with crystal clear waters. It is also an ideal picnic spot for those who love nature and its silence.

Another important attraction to explore is Auli Artificial Lake, one of the highest man-made lakes in the World. Surrounded by the mighty peaks of the Himalayas. Back to Auli by Chair Lift by the evening, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Auli – Kausani (188 km/ 5.6 hours)

Wake up early, have breakfast, complete the check-out formalities, and proceed to Kausani by road. Mahatma Gandhi described this city as the 'Mini-Switzerland of India'. On reaching Kausani, check in at the pre-booked hotel and unwind. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of the city. The major tourist locations in Kausani include the Anashakti Ashram Laxmi Ashram, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, and the Kausani tea estate. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Kausani- Mukteshwar (104 km/ 3.7 hours)

Post breakfast, check out from your hotel and head straight to Mukteshwar from Kausani. This city is a sacred shrine that holds great importance amongst the people of Uttarakhand. En route to Mukteshwar, while crossing Almora, halt to buy some Bal-Mithai, the local sweet delicacy.

Also, visit Bhowali, the biggest fruit market in Uttarakhand and famous as the 'fruit bowl of Kumaon'. On reaching Mukteshwar, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels. Enjoy darshan at the Mukteshwar Temple. Relish dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Mukteshwar - Bhimtal- Nainital (62.7 km/ 2.7 hours)

This morning, have breakfast, complete the check-out, and commence your journey to Bhimtal. On the way to Bhimtal, stop midway to visit Ghorakhal, Naukuchiatal, and Sattal. After arriving at Nainital, check-in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Savor dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Nainital Sightseeing Tour

Today, after breakfast, move out for a full day and embark on a sightseeing tour of Nainital. The major tourist attractions include the Khurpatal Lake, Waterfalls, Hanuman Mandir, and Observatory. Also, enjoy the cable car ride to Tiffin Top and a boat ride to Naini Lake. In the evening, enjoy shopping at Mall Road. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Nainital – Corbett (62.4 km/ 1.8 hours)

On the 7th day of the Uttarakhand Family tour, after breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Jim Corbett National Park. The park allows you to see a variety of species, including Tigers, leopards, and elephants in their natural habitat. Experience an adventurous jeep safari and explore the park's rich flora and fauna. Day 8: Corbett - Haridwar/ Dehradun
