Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

After reaching Delhi airport, meet our representative who'll escort you to one of our listed hotels in the morning. Check in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi - Almora

Next morning after breakfast, leave for Almora by surface. On reaching Almora, check in at one of our listed hotels. Almora, the picturesque mountain resort, lies in the peaceful atmosphere bordered by the Kumaon Mountains of the Himalayas. After taking a rest for some time, embark on a sightseeing tour of Almora.

The major tourist attractions of Almora include Chitai Temple, Bright End Corner, and Kasar Devi temple. In the evening, enjoy shopping extravagance at the Lal Bazaar. The place is famous for Rabbit wool clothes which are made out of the wool of a special breed of Rabbit.

The decorative items, brass items, and other kinds of metal utensils are pretty popular among visitors. Retire for the night in the hotel.

Day 3: Almora

Following morning post breakfast, set off to explore the beautiful Katarmal Sun Temple. It is the second most important sun temple in the country after the Konark Sun Temple in Orissa.

This 800-year-old temple complex though amidst ruins, still stands as a significant point of attraction in the region, and many devotees visit here to offer prayer to the Sun God.

The exquisite architectural style of the temple leaves its visitors spellbound by its beauty. In the evening, visit Deer Park, which is rich in natural beauty; the park is surrounded by lush greenery with clusters of pine trees, making it a suitable habitat for various wildlife species. After the visit, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Almora - Binsar

Post breakfast, move out for an excursion to Binsar. Located 30 km away from Almora at the height of 2412mts above sea level, it offers an ultimate view of the Himalayas. The 300 Km wide panorama provides for breathtaking peaks of Chaukhamba, Nandadevu, Kedarnath, Trishul, Nanda Kot, and Panchchuli.

As you reach Binsar, check in at one of our listed hotels of Binsar. After resting and relaxing for a while, move out for a guided tour of Binsar. The major tourist attractions of Binsar include the Bineshwar Temple, Zero Point, and the Golu Devata temple. Spend the evening at leisure. Then, enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Almora - Bageshwar

After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Bageshwar, situated 90 Km from Almora. Located at the confluence of the Saryu and Gomti Rivers, the town is known for its ancient temples. Upon reaching Bageshwar, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels.

After taking some rest, embark to visit Bagnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated in the heart of the city, and many devotees visit the temple during the occasion of Mahashivratri.

The other temples to visit while at Bageshwar include Bhairav Temple, Durga Temple, Datatrey Maharaj, Hanuman Temple, Ganga Mai Temple, and the Kalikka Temple. After the temple tour, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Almora - Ranikhet

After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, hit the roads to reach Ranikhet in the morning. As you reach Ranikhet, check in at one of our listed accommodations. The major tourist attractions of Ranikhet include the Haidakhan temple, Jhula Devi temple, and Mankameshwar temple.

Later in the day, visit the 9-hole Golf Course, India's second most prominent golf course. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Ranikhet

Today the day is reserved for exploring the nearby areas of Ranikhet. Visit Dwarahat, a small town noted for its historical and archeological importance. Visit the Shakti temple and the Naithna Devi Temple.

The valley of Dwarahat is picturesque and is a significant draw for tourists. Also, visit the small town of Kalika, which is famous amongst the visitors to the Kalika temple and Golf Course.

Enjoy a picnic excursion at the Sheetalkhet, full of fruit orchards situated between Almora and Ranikhet. After the visit, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Ranikhet - Kausani

Post breakfast, leave for Kausani, located to the northwest of Almora. Renowned as the Switzerland of India, Kausani is a scenic splendor having less than 300 inhabitants.

The unique feature of this temple is that the main deity, Goddess Bhramari, faces north, and devotees offer prayers from the south direction of the temple. After visiting the temple, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Kausani - Delhi

After breakfast, transfer to Kausani airport to board a flight to Delhi in the morning. On reaching Delhi, transfer to hotel for wash and change. Spend the day at leisure. After enjoying a sumptuous dinner, transfer to Delhi airport to board a connecting flight for onward destination.
