Overview

Chardham Yatra is among the most sacred pilgrimages in the Hindu religion. The four holy shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri are covered in this 12-day Chardham Yatra package by road from Bangalore. These 4 major Hindu shrines are all located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, North India. 

During this spiritual journey, you will travel through the picturesque natural beauty of the Himalayas and pay obeisance to the holy Hindu shrines nestled in the scenic Himalayas.

Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Bangalore to Delhi (by air)

Arrive at Delhi airport, and our driver will receive you at IGI Airport and take you to Haridwar—Check-in at the hotel. If time permits, visit Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, and others. Also visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Back to your hotel, Nighthalt.

Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot (179 Km/ 6 hours)

Drive to Barkot via Mussoorie; stop at Kempty Fall en route (eating lunch at Kempty Fall is advised as there are no good restaurants before Badkot). Later, drive directly to Barkot and take a taxi to your hotel. You are free to enjoy the rest of the day. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot

Early morning, drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti. The trek starts from here to Yamunotri (6 km), either on foot, by horse, or by Doli at its own cost. The trek passes through a lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and several species of Himalayan shrubs.

Arr. Yamunotri, One can boil rice by packing it in a piece of fabric and dipping it in hot water of the hot kund. Then, bathe in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and have "Darshan '' of pious "Yamunaji," returning to Jankichatti. Then, return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Barkot - Uttarkashi (82 Km/ 3 hours)

Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple, Shakti Temple, and others—Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Night Halt.

Day 5: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (99 Km/ 3 hours) {one way}

Drive to Gangotri in the early morning, stop at Gangnani to take a holy plunge in Garam Kund, and then continue driving to Gangotri through the lovely Harsil Valley. As you arrive at Shree Gangotri, take a sacred bath in the Ganges at Bhagirathi's source. After that, Pooja and darshan should be done, and some time should be spent relaxing in the gorgeous surroundings. Arrive back in Uttarkashi. Overnight in Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (200 Km/ 7 hours)

Drive through Moolgarh and Lambgaon and then directly to Guptkashi. At Tilwara, you may glimpse the lovely Mandakini River as you go. To get to Guptkashi, drive alongside the Mandakini River, which originates near Kedarnath. Check into the hotel upon arrival, then go to the ArdhNarishwar Temple in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7: Guptkashi – Phata/Sersi Helipad (11 Km/ 0.4 hours)

Drive to Phata or Sersi (Helipad) in the morning, then take a helicopter to Kedarnath Jee. Check out the Kedarnath Temple. Within Garbha Griha, anyone is welcome to enter and touch the idol. You can also rest the day at your leisure and make a head-to-head prostration before the deity. Finally, spend the night in Kedarnath.

Day 8: Kedarnath Jee- Sirsi/ Phata by Helicopter- Drive to Guptkashi

You rise early in the morning, bathe, and get to the temple for Kedarnath Shiva's "Abhishek" at 4:45 a.m. The idol can be touched by anyone who enters Garbha Griha (subject to permission). You can also make a head-to-head prostration of the deity, etc.

Next, you will go to the Helipad to board a helicopter for Sirsi, Phata, or Guptkashi. Our Driver will meet you there and help you check into the Hotel of Guptkashi so that you can spend the night.

Day 9: Guptkashi - Badrinath (197 Km/ 6 Hours)

By way of Joshimath, travel to Badrinath. Check-in Hotel. Later in the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay.

Day 10: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (154 Km/5 Hours) / Kirtinagar (200 km)

Early in the morning, visiting pilgrims, after bathing in the Tapt Kund, have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charan Paduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh '' of the Saraswati River, are just within three km of Badrinath Ji. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag / Kirtinagar via Joshimath. Check-in Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (138 km/4 Hours) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh (100 Km/ 2 Hours)

Drive to Rishikesh, the 'place of sages," a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of the Ganga and surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides.

Check-in Hotel. Later, visit Rishikesh Temples & Sightseeing: Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Sivananda Ashram. In the evening, go to Parmarth Ashram for Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay.

Day 12: Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi (238 Km/ 4 hours) & Later Fly to Bangalore

Drive back to Delhi Airport via Haridwar to take a flight to Bangalore.
