Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi

An unexperienced tour of India on the offbeat track starts with your arrival in Delhi. A tour representative meets you with a warm welcome. You will be further assisted to your hotel. Check-in and enjoy the comforts of your hotel.

Delhi merges the wonderful worlds of magnificent history and brilliant present. The capital of India has been a city of cities as old as civilization. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi

Start you day with a sumptuous breakfast. Next you proceed to the city excursion of Delhi. Sightseeing excursion take you to the monuments, temples and edifices that this city is well-known for. Start the tour with Red Fort, then India Gate and the governmental buildings at Rajpath including Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament house. Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Rajghat, Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb etc.

After the day spent unraveling the treasures of Delhi, return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 3: Delhi - Neemrana

Start the day with a healthy breakfast. Check-out of your hotel and proceed towards Neemrana. Here on arrival, we get you a transfer to a hotel. At Noon, a visit to the step-well located very nearby is planned. Visit one of the typical village of Rajasthan. Here you can have a look at the daily life, culture and traditions of the common folks. Spend time with them and learn about their lives. These friendly folk have amazing stories to tell.

Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Neemrana - Mandawa

Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Mandawa. Check-in to your hotel. This 18th century town in Rajasthan is where affluent merchant class flourished. The touristy base for the haveli explorations, Mandawa is a great place to savor village life. Explore the Havelis, built by the merchant class. These edifices stand witness to the proliferous era and also beautify the landscape.

Get back to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Mandawa - Bikaner

Start the day with a hearty meal. After which you will be transferred to Bikaner. This city has attained unequaled fame all over India for the snacks and sweets made here.

Return to your hotel, sated with the charm of Bikaner.

Day 6: Bikaner - Deshnok - Khimsar

Early in the morning, post breakfast drive to Khimsar. En-route stop at Deshnok. Here you visit the 600- years old Rat Temple. Dedicated to Karni Mata, the temple is home to around 20000 black rats.

Resume the drive to Khimsar and check into a hotel. Late afternoon, take drive in the jeep through the desert countryside nestled at the edge of the Indian Thar. Here you can visit the local villages. On your ride, watch wildlife prevailing in this area. As the sun sets, stop for refreshments and admire the spectacular view of the last golden rays shading the sand dunes.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Khimsar - Jaisalmer

Start the day with a leisurely breakfast. Check-out of your hotel and avail transfer to Jaisalmer. The Golden city lies at the centre of Great Indian Desert. On arrival check into a hotel and then relax for rest of the day.

Day 8: In Jaisalmer

As the day turns to dawn, embark on an excursion of Jaisalmer. Start sightseeing with a visit to Sonar Quila, the Jaisalmer Fort. The sandstone fort offers a breath-taking view of the town snuggled at the edge of the desert. The fort has awe-inspiring Jain temples and exhibits of antique art, outfits and other memorabilia of the royalty.

Later in the afternoon, visit the Bara Bagh Cenotaphs, commemorating Rajput Kings. Then proceed to the sunset point at the Sam Sand Dunes. The spread of sand as far as you can see is magical. Take a ride on the camel back and watch the scenic view of the setting sun.

Day 9: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

After a delightful breakfast, start for Jodhpur. Here on arrival, check in to the pre-booked hotel. Relax in your comfy lodging. In the afternoon, make a visit to the attractions of Jodhpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest Indian forts, Jaswant Thada Memorial, Sardar market clock tower, etc.

Return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 10: Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur

Start for Udaipur, after your breakfast. En-route stop at Ranakpur Jain Temples. These temples were built using white marble and stand strong with the support of more than 1,400 pillars. After exploring the intriguing site, restart for Udaipur. Founded by Rana Udai Singh, ruler of Mewar Kingdom, the City of Lakes is one of the most visited cities in Rajasthan.

On arriving Udaipur, check into a hotel for a reposeful overnight stay.

Day 11: In Udaipur

Today have a quick breakfast and leave for sightseeing. There are various mesmerizing sites in Udaipur. Make a visit like the wonderful City Palace, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari (gardens for royal women), Fatehsagar Lake, Jagdish Temple, etc.

Afternoon will be devoted to a cruise at Lake Pichola and Jag Mandir palace situated on an island in the lake. In the evening, leave to explore the Meera Kala Mandir. Enjoy the traditional Rajasthani Folk Dances.

Day 12: Udaipur - Dungerpur

Today as the day starts and you have had breakfast, drive to Dungarpur. Check-in to your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon leave to see the Juna Mahal Haveli. The Haveli is an ancient one which looks decrepit from outside but has been well maintained from inside. Later, shop at the local markets. The vibrant and chaotic markets have attractive delights for shoppers.

Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Dungerpur - Chitorgarh - Bijaipur

Today your destination is Bijapur. Post breakfast, start your drive. En-route stop at Chittorgarh to visit the largest fort in India. Resume your drive to Bijapur. This city has witnessed several battles between Mughals and Rajputs. Visit the 16th century relics dotted all over the place. Check-in the hotel on arrival.

Dinner and overnight stay is scheduled here.

Day 14: Bijaipur - Roopangarh

At the beginning of the day, after breakfast commence to Roopangarh. The royal province was founded by Maharaja Roop Singh. Check into the pre-booked hotel on arrival. Rest for a while and then leave at noon to tour the villages. Marvel at the architecture and the hospitable behavior.

Day 15: Roopangarh - Jaipur

Early in the morning leave for Jaipur. After your breakfast, commence on your drive. Jaipur is one of the major tourist attractions in India. Popularly known as the Pink City, the capital of Rajasthan is one of the marvelous cities replete with history, heritage and modern delights. Arrive and check-in to the pre-booked hotel. Later, you are taken for shopping at the nearby bazaars. The displays at the markets are simply amazing and you cannot leave empty-handed.

Get back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 16: Jaipur

Today after a heart meal, get ready for sightseeing. A whole day city trip in Jaipur is planned for all. Start the tour with a visit to the Amber Fort. Owned by Sawai Jai Singh II, the fort is located on a strategic location to keep an eye on the whole city. The views are picturesque. Go up to the fort gate on the back of an elephant.

Post lunch, return to the main Jaipur city to see the ever amazing Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar and high-spirited markets.

After a well spent day, come back to the hotel for taking a peaceful night's sleep.

Day 17: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Post breakfast, we take you to the next destination of this trip. En-route Agra, stop at Fatehpur Sikri. The erstwhile capital of Mughal dynasty has numerous allures. It is now listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check out the specimens of the intrinsic architecture of the era. The Buland Darwaza, world's largest gateway is a sight not-to-miss.

After having explored the charming relics, continue driving towards Agra. Check into a hotel on arrival. After freshening up, we visit the beauty beyond words, the Taj Mahal. Day 18: Agra - Delhi

Early morning, check out from the hotel after having breakfast. Next, drive towards Delhi. En-route, stop to explore the Red Fort of Agra. The grand fortress symbolizes the mighty power of Mughals.

On arrival at Delhi, spend some time at the markets. After few hours you will be driven to Delhi Airport. Board your flight for the onward destination taking sweet memories along.
