Today you will visit Red Fort (Closed on Monday), which is more commonly known as the Lal Quila. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan had laid its foundation and nine long years were taken for this citadel to be built. The fort is built of red sandstone, and has two main gates. Lal Quila is the reminder of the glory of the Mughal era.

Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. The shrine is a simple black stone structure with an eternal flame burning at one end, a fitting tribute to a humble man who changed the world with nothing but the power of ideas.

Bahai Temple: Situated atop the Kalkaji Hill. It is also known as "The Lotus Temple" (Monday Closed) due to its distinctive lotus shaped design in Marble.

Qutub Minar- It is an excellent example of Afghan Architecture. Stands tall with its 73 meter tall brick minaret. Built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the structure has five stories abundant with chiseled carvings and scriptures.

Humayun's Tomb- A world heritage site under UNESCO, the Humayun's Tomb was built in 1570 by Humayun's wife Haji Begum. It is unarguably one of the most amazing works of Mughal Architecture to which Taj Mahal owes its design.

Drive Past to the India Gate- it commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who lost their lives while fighting for the Indian Empire and the President's House. The Rajpath Kingsway - Stroll along the Rajpath boulevard which connects the Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate, a ceremonial avenue once known as the Kingsway.

Day 3: Delhi to Agra (Approx 220 Kms/ 04 Hrs)

A Drive from Delhi to Agra.

Upon your arrival at Agra, check in to a pre-booked hotel. Rest for a while following which you would be taken on a sightseeing tour of the historic Agra city. The Taj receives a huge influx of tourists from all over the globe.

TAJ MAHAL ( Closed on Each Friday ) - Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen.

AGRA FORT -The red sandstone structure is surrounded by chahar-bagh, a four-square formal garden. Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. It lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. Akbar built it as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.

After Agra Fort we will visit to BABY TAJ or the ITMAD-UD-ULLAH - The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj. One of the most beautiful Mughal tombs, Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb was built by Nur Jahan, the Empress of Jehangir for her father in 1628. The tomb is a resting place of the powerful personality in Mughal Court, Itmad-Ud-Daulah, whose life is very interesting.

Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 4: Agra- Jaipur (Approx 245 Kms/ 04 Hrs)

A Drive to Jaipur en-route Fatehpur Sikri

This city comes under Agra district. It was basically built by the Sikriwal Rajput Maharana Sangram Singh. After exploring the beauty of Fatehpur Sikri, the voyage now moves towards Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. The land of Jaipur has many such places that tell us the story of the heroic past of the brave Rajputs of this desert.
