Itinerary Detail
On reaching Cochin, you will be received by our representative, who'll escort you to the hotel for check-in. Then, in the evening, go on a boat cruise of the Cochin Harbor. The Harbor extends across two islands in the Lake of Kochi. The harbor was naturally formed after the great floods in Periyar in the 14th century. At night, have your lip-smacking dinner in your hotel room and jump on your bed for a restful overnight stay in Cochin.
In the morning, after breakfast, head towards the local fish and spice market of Cochin, where you shall learn how to check the fish for freshness. In the afternoon, enjoy the Indian and Kerala cuisine. After lunch, experience a hands-on cooking demonstration of seafood preparation in Malayali cuisine. Finally, after enjoying this whole day with a new and fascinating experience, you will move towards your hotel room for a delicious dinner. Later, have dinner and jump on your bed to enjoy an overnight stay in Cochin.
After breakfast, head towards Periyar. On reaching Periyar, get accommodated at a pre-booked resort. Rest and relax for a while in the resort. In the evening, visit Periyar Lake to enjoy the boat safari ride. In the late evening, return to the lodge to attend another cooking demonstration using fresh spices by culinary experts. Relax in the resort for a while. Later, enjoy dinner and retire for the day on your comfortable bed.
