Itinerary Detail
Late evening arrival at the Bangalore airport or railway station. Get an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and get ready for visiting the popular tourist attractions of the Garden City. You will cover the Nandi Temple, the Botanical Garden, Vidhan Soudha and Lal Bagh. Stay overnight.
On day 3, enjoy a hearty breakfast and hit the road to go to Bennarghatta National Park. Spread in 25,000 acres of land, this park is one of the richest natural and zoological reserves. Along with a wildlife safari, do not miss visiting Zoo Museum and Butterfly Park. Return to Bangalore for an overnight stay.
Have your breakfast and begin your road journey to Mysore. Situated at the foothills of Chamundi Hills, it is the second largest city of Karnataka, popular for its architectural marvels. On arrival, check- in at your hotel. After lunch, visit The Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace. It is the second most popular tourist attraction after the Taj Mahal.
Have your breakfast and leave for Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Known as Paksi Kashi of Karnataka, the sanctuary boasts of being home to around 170 species of both local and migratory birds such as Woolly-necked Stork, Black-headed Ibis, Lesser Whistling Duck, Indian Shag, Stork-billed Kingfisher etc. Enjoy bird watching here. Stay overnight in Mysore.
On day 6, after having your breakfast. Hit the road to go to Nagarhole National Park that boasts of having a healthy tiger-predator ratio. This private hunting ground of the Wodeyar Dynasty of Mysore, was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1955 and a national park in 1988. On arrival, check into your jungle lodge. Today, you can enjoy a nature walk. Stay overnight.
Have your breakfast and enjoy a wildlife safari into the Nagarhole national park, in the morning as well as in the evening. you will spot numerous animal and bird species like tiger, Indian bison or gaur,Asian elephants , mouse deer, Indian pangolin, spotted deer or chital, Malabar grey hornbill , white bellied treepie , bamboo pit viper etc. Stay overnight.
Today, after breakfast, you will drive to Bandipur National park. Former hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Mysore, this park is home to many endangered species of the wildlife of India. Once you reach, check into your lodge. Embark on a nature walk. Overnight stay.
Day 9 is for a wildlife safari into the Bandipur National Park. You will spot various animal and bird species that include Sloth bears, Muggers, Indian rock pythons, Four-horned antelopes, Gray langurs, Indian giant squirrels, Brown fish owls and Crested serpent eagles. Overnight stay.
In the morning, have breakfast and hit the road to reach Ooty. Once you reach Ooty, get transferred to your hotel. After breakfast, you are going to visit tea plantations, Botanical garden and Doddabetta Park. Stay overnight.
Day 11 is free for leisure activities. You can do a number of things. If you want the you can visit the remaining attractions like Ooty lake, Lamb’s rock, Kodanadu’s View Point etc. You can visit the local market or can simply relax in your room. Overnight stay.
Today, you are going to visit a tribal village occupied by Todas, a pastoral community. Once you reach the village, you can observe the daily activities of the locals. You can also shop for colorful shawls, hand-woven by the tribals. You can also visit their Dairy temple, which is made in a cone shape. Overnight in Ooty.
After relishing your breakfast, get transported to the Coimbatore airport to board a flight to your onward destination
