Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Once you arrive at Srinagar Airport, you must reach the hotel on your own. Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at ease. You can stroll through the nearby area independently. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Srinagar - Kargil (202 km/ 5.2 hours)

Start your day with breakfast, then complete the check-out formalities and get on your bike to reach Kargil. Begin your ride toward the scenic resort town of Sonmarg. From here, proceed to the summit of Zoji La and then descend to enter the Ladakh region. Further, reach the small town of Drass Village and then visit the Kargil War Memorial to learn about the incredible facts about the 1999 Battle. Thereafter, head to Kargil. When in the hotel at Kargil, complete the check-in and relax. Later, have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Kargil - Leh (216 km/ 4.5 hours)

Today, have breakfast and then complete the check-out formalities. After that, get on your wheels for the adventurous ride to Leh. Proceed towards the Leh vicinity on the Himalayan and, en route, halt at Lamayuru to visit one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. A visit to Lamayuru will treat your wandering soul to lunar landscape views. Further, continue with your ride to Leh via Srinagar Leh Highway, and take stops in between to visit gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, sacred Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the Hall of Fame Museum. Later, when you reach your hotel in Leh, complete the check-in formalities and take some rest. Late in the evening, have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Leh - Nubra (159 km/ 4.5 hours)

On day 4 of your Srinagar-Leh-Manali Bike tour, have breakfast, check out from the hotel, and start the exciting bike ride to reach Nubra Valley. En route, halt at Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable pass. Capture some awe-struck photographs here. In the afternoon, arrive at Nubra Valley and spot the 108-foot Maitreya Buddha Statue situated in the Diskit Monastery Complex. Further, visit Hunder Sand Dunes to enjoy the camel ride on the Double Humped Bactrian Camel. Afterward, head towards the campsite and complete the check-in. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5: Nubra - Turtuk or Siachen Base Camp - Nubra

Kickstart your day with breakfast at the camp. Then, you will mount towards Turtuk through Hunder Village, located on the India-Pakistan border on the banks of the Shyok River. Here, you'll get insights into the local lifestyle and history through the stories about the village. Spend your time walking around the picturesque view. After a while, leave Turtuk to reach Nubra for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arise early, and after breakfast, you will head to the highest battlefield in the world, the Siachen Base Camp excursion. En route, Sumur Village will be your pitstop, where the 150-year-old Samstanling Gompa or Monastery is located. Afterward, bathe in the therapeutic properties of the hot spring at Panamic. Later, proceed towards riding to Siachen Base Camp, which is a protected area. Soak in the unparalleled breathtaking views. After a hectic day, return to the Nubra Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Nubra - Pangong (274 km/ 6.9 hours)

After breakfast, check out of your stay and proceed towards the most photographed destination in Ladakh, Pangong Lake. Although you will not cross any high passes today, the ride will be quite intriguing as you pass through the less traveled road via Shyok. You will pass through villages like Agham, Shyok, Durbuk, and Tangste on your way. The road remains slushy, along with some exciting water crossings and rocky terrain so being cautious is important. After crossing Durbuk, the last stretch of the ride is going to be along the lake. From the very first glimpse, the lake leaves an everlasting impression on the visitors. Get yourself photographed and just admire the wonder that this shimmering blue lake is. You will complete the check-in formalities in your tents, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 7: Pangong - Leh (223 km/ 5.1 hours)

Wake up to a splendid sunrise over Pangong Tso and have your breakfast. After that, check out and leave for Leh. Today, you are going to ride the same route as yesterday, and after crossing Durbuk, ascend towards the third highest motorable pass in the world, Chang La. After crossing Chang La, halt for Lunch. After eating, begin your journey to Leh via Karu, from where you can get on the Manali-Leh Highway. Just before reaching Leh, pass through the Thiksey monastery and the popular Druk White Lotus School. There will be a short halt to explore the monastery and take some pictures. Further, arrive in Leh, complete the check-in formalities, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 8: Leh - Jispa (335 km/ 9 hours)

Post breakfast, check out of your stay, and start our journey towards Jispa. This route will give you a mesmerizing view of this beautiful cold desert's landscape, leaving you spellbound. Then, Tanglang La pass cuts through the mountains while one can witness a gentle stream flowing on a clear day surrounded by snow-capped mountains. During the ride, one can feel wind slapping against it as it sometimes gets quite windy.

Further, you will cross Baralacha La and pass through the snow and Zing-Zing Bar. You will reach Jispa in the evening, complete the check-in formalities, and relax. You can even indulge in stories with the locals. Have dinner and stay overnight in Jispa.

Day 9: Jispa - Manali (92.4 km/ 2.4 hours)

Commence your day with breakfast, then complete the check-out procedure and head towards the last day of your thrilling journey. You'll pass through the iconic route of Rohtang Pass and some of the scenic villages of Lahaul Valley. Later, when you reach Manali, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel, and the day will be easy for you to spend. Late in the evening, have dinner and an overnight stay.
