Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Sonmarg (79.6km/ 2.3 hours)

Upon your arrival at the Srinagar Airport, our representative will meet you and assist you with a drive to Sonmarg. Admire the scenic roadways meandering through the imposing Himalayas en route. Once you reach the pre-listed hotel in Sonmarg, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is leisurely. Further, an overnight stay at the hotel.

PS: As per Army Guidelines, guests are requested to reach Srinagar by early morning flight as the drive to Sonmarg will be stopped after 14:00 Hrs.

Day 2: Sonmarg – Neelgarth – Panchtarni – Holy Cave

Start your day with breakfast in the hotel. Then, your guide will drive you to Neelgarth. Once you reach Neelgarth, board a chopper to Panchtarni. On reaching Panjtarni, you will walk the forward journey of about 6 km. You can also take the help of palkis and horseback to Shri Amarnath Cave. Inside the cave of Amarnath Jee, follow all your worship rituals to get the divine blessings of Lord Shiva. You may spot the immortal pigeon inside the cave if you are lucky. After worshipping Lord Shiva to your heart's content then, proceed back to Panchtarni where a helicopter ride will be waiting for you. Further, upon tour arrival at Neelgarth Helipad, our driver will pick you up and transfer you back to the hotel in Sonmarg. An overnight stay at the hotel.

PS: In case Chopper's return journey is canceled due to bad weather, Guests will have to find tented accommodation at Top on a direct payment basis.

Day 3: Sonmarg- Srinagar Departure (79.6km/ 2.3 hours)

Today is the last day of your Amarnath Yatra by Helicopter tour. Begin your day with breakfast, pack your belongings, and check out from the hotel. You will get an assisted transfer to the Srinagar Airport. Upon reaching the airport, board your flight to your onward destination with sweet and incredible memories.

For Helicopter Journeys :

  • Helicopter Tickets & Fare are subject to availability & can change at any moment.
  • While Indian Holiday Pvt. Ltd. (IHPL) takes utmost care to make you fly by Helicopter but due to sudden weather conditions / VIP Movement / unavoidable situations at the last moment - it sometimes becomes unavailable. IHPL will make every possible attempt to arrange for alternate Helicopter journey on same day or on alternate dates depending upon the availability of Helicopter at that time.
  • No ticket would be carried forward to next day.
  • No accommodation, meal or cost of transport would be paid or reimbursed or compensated due to cancellation of Helicopter. 
Special Note:
  • All taxes, hotel rates, transport rates, etc are as applicable on date. Any future hike on same would be charged extra.
  • Things to carry- Medicine. Woolen Blanket, Sweater, Monkey Cap, Muffler, Shawl, Rain-Coat, Sport Shoes & Torch Light.
