Jaisalmer Desert Festival 6 Days Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi
Upon reaching the Delhi airport, meet our tour representative, who will help you with a guided transfer to the pre-decided hotel. Then, complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. After that, get ready to visit the major attractions of Delhi, like the India Gate, Raj Ghat, and Lotus Temple.
Other attractions you will be exploring are the Humayun's Tomb – a tomb dedicated to Mughal emperor Humayun, and Qutub Minar – the tallest brick minaret in the world. But, before calling it a day, marvel at the Parliament House. The evening is to be spent leisurely.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi – Jodhpur (by flight)
On Day 2 after breakfast, check-out and start with a drive towards the airport to board the flight to Jodhpur. After reaching your destination, receive a warm welcome and transfer comfortably to one of our listed hotels. After checking in, get ready for a guided tour to Jodhpur in the afternoon. The excursion will include a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort.
Later, you will be taken to the Umaid Bhawan Palace – one of the largest private residences in the world, with a part of it serving as a museum, Jaswant Thada, Raj Bagh. This is followed by a visit to the Umed Garden, visited by both adults and kids, and the Government Museum.
An overnight stay is planned at the hotel.
Day 3: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (281 km/ 4 hrs 57 min)
Start the day with breakfast and check-out. Later on, enjoy the road trip to Jaisalmer. On reaching the hotel in Jaisalmer, complete the check-in formalities. After straightening your back, explore the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort. Post this, head towards the royal cenotaphs at the Bada Bagh.
After touring both of these attractions, you will be transferred to the venue of the Desert Festival. The day will be spent enjoying and participating in various competitions. The annual event comprises multiple matches, e.g., Mr. and Miss Desert, Turban Tying Competition, etc.

Day 4: Jaisalmer Desert Festival
The day begins early in the morning as you will attend the Mangal Aarti at the Gadsisar Lake. Then, return to the hotel to satiate your hunger with breakfast. Subsequently, head towards the Desert Festival venue, where you will participate in amusing games like the Tug of War between the Indians and the foreigners.
Participating in the Matka race competition can also test your balancing skills. You can also take part in activities like camel decoration. Camel polo is another major highlight of the desert festival in Jaisalmer.
After an eventful day and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
On this day, after breakfast you will be delighted with a day trip to Jaisalmer. The journey begins with proceeding toward the Jain temples. Other places to visit in Jaisalmer are Bada Bagh, the Folklore Museum, and Amar Sagar Lake.
During the rest of the day, you will head towards the Salim Ji ki Haveli and the Nathmal ki Haveli. Subsequently, you will drive towards the Sam Sand Dunes, where the grand finale of the Desert Festival is to be held.

Day 6: Jodhpur - Delhi (by flight)
The Jaisalmer Desert Festival Tour ends today. After having your breakfast, hit the road to the Jodhpur airport to board the flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, you can catch your homebound flight.
