Classical Northeast India Tour For 9 Days
Day 1: Guwahati/ Tezpur - Nameri National Park
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, our tour representative will pick you up for assisted transfer to Nameri National Park. Nestled on the Jia Bhoroli Riverbank and the Assam Arunachal Pradesh border, this national park is home to endangered and exotic wildlife species. On arrival, you will reach the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax for a while.
In the evening, enjoy a show of Bihu Dance, the traditional and well-known Assamese dance. Later, return to the hotel and have scrumptious food. Overnight stay in Nameri.

Day 2: Nameri - Dirang
Wake up early in the morning and proceed for a trek in the national park. It is an almost 2.5 hours trek. You will enjoy the surreal view of scenic vistas and lush surroundings. During the hike, you can spot some of the exotic species of birds in the Nameri National Park. After the trek, return to your hotel and savor a delicious breakfast, and then check out from the hotel.
Afterward, you can go river rafting on the Jia Bhoroli River. Later, proceed to Dirang. In the afternoon, after having lunch, you will start your journey. En route, you will cross Bomdila Pass, which is perched at 2,415 m above sea level. Also, take a halt at Tipi Orchid Center and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. On your arrival in Dirang, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Day 3: Dirang Sightseeing Tour
On the 3rd day of the North East tour, you will explore the Dirang. First, visit Sangti Valley, which is situated on the bank of the Sangti River. You can spot migratory birds here. Later, visit the Sheep Breeding Center and Dirang Dzong. During your village walk, you can interact with local villagers to learn about the rich culture and lifestyle of the region.
Afterward, return to your hotel. Have a delicious meal at the hotel and slip into your bed for a sound sleep.
Day 4: Dirang – Sela Pass - Tawang
Wake up to a toothsome breakfast and then check out from the hotel to proceed towards Tawang. En route, you will cross Sela Pass, which is covered with snow for most of the year. You can visit Paradise Lake, which remains frozen during the winter season. On arrival in Tawang, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Later, you will visit Tawang Monastery which is a 300-year-old gompa. You can also see an 8 m high gilded statue of the Buddha and numerous ancient Thangkas and manuscripts.
Return to the hotel after a sightseeing tour. Have a lip-smacking dinner and overnight at Tawang.

Day 5: Tawang Sightseeing Tour
On the 5th day of the North East tour, after having breakfast, you will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Tawang. Firstly, you will visit Pankang Teng Tso Lake where you will reach an extremely scenic drive. After enjoying your time here and clicking some pictures, return to the city for lunch. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Savor a delectable dinner in the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay at Tawang.
Day 6: Tawang - Bomdila
After having a delicious breakfast, complete the check-out formalities to drive to Bomdila. Nestled at an altitude of 2,530 m above sea level, Bomdila is a haven for nature lovers and peace-seekers. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the pre-booked hotel. Enjoy lunch after your scenic ride and the rest of the day at your leisure. Finally, you can head out on a walk and interact with the locals to enhance your experience.
In the evening, return to your hotel. Have a toothsome dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at Bomdila

Day 7: Bomdila – Kaziranga National Park
Have a delicious breakfast and then pack your bags to check out from the hotel to proceed towards Kaziranga. En route, stop at Tezpur and visit ancient temples and monuments steeped in mythology, legends, and folklore on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra. Later, proceed towards Kaziranga National Park, the oldest national park in Assam. It is renowned for being the home to the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses and many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.
On arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of your time at your own wish. Enjoy the delectable dinner at the hotel and have a sound sleep in your room.

Day 8: Kaziranga – Elephant and Jeep Safari
Wake up early in the morning to explore the Kaziranga National Park and partake in elephant rides. During the early hours, the chances of spotting rhinos and other exotic wildlife species are more. Enjoy elephant rides, which are the most enjoyable option to explore the park. Here, you can see herds of Indian Elephants, One-horned Rhinoceros, and many other wild animals from a very close distance.
After the elephant safari, return to your lodge after almost 2 hours of safari and have a delicious breakfast. Relax for a while and then later, embark on a jeep safari in the Central Range of the Park. This jeep safari is a 3 to 4 hours long trip. The elephant safari lets you get real close to the animals, especially a rhino. However, a jeep safari takes you deeper into the forest range, where you can spot many more animals and birds.
Return to your accommodation for lunch after which you can depart for a Jeep Safari in the Western Range of the national park. In the evening, enjoy Jhumur, which is a local Tribal dance show. Have a delicious dinner and have a restful sleep in the room in Kaziranga.
Day 9: Kaziranga - Guwahati
This is the last day of your North East tour. After having a delicious breakfast, pack your bags and complete the check-out formalities. Then, hop on to your ride to proceed towards Jorhat airport or Furkating railway station to board a plane or a train for your onward journey.
