Itinerary Details
DAY 01: Hyderabad - Dehradun (by Air) - Haridwar (by Road)
Your Char Dham Yatra from Hyderabad starts with your arrival in Dehradun. You will take a flight from Hyderabad to Dehradun. On arrival, our tour representative will meet you at the Dehradun Airport and you will have an assisted transfer to Haridwar by road.
On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and unwind. After freshening up, you will embark on the sightseeing tour of the city and visit Har ki Pauri, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Bilkeshwar Mahadev, Anandmai Ashram, Vaishno Devi Temple, Doodhadhari Temple, and Bharat Mata Mandir.
Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Enjoy the food at the hotel and have a sound sleep in your bed.
DAY 02: Haridwar - Barkot (175 km / 5 to 6 hours)
Wake up to a healthy breakfast, check out from the hotel, and head towards Barkot. En route to visit Kempty Falls and enjoy the time here with family or loved ones. It is advisable to have lunch here as after this, there is no good restaurant available before Barkot.
Later, start your drive for Barkot and enjoy the scenic views en route. On arrival, you have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check in formalities and relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Have a delicious dinner at the hotel and enjoy a restful sleep.
DAY 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (33 km / 2hrs approx.)
On the 3rd day of the tour, have scrumptious meals and then head towards Jankichatti, which is the base camp of Yamunotri Dham. On arrival, you will start the trek from here to Yamunotri, which is 6 km. You can either reach the temple on foot or hire a pony/ horse or doli/ palanquin at your own cost.
Upon your arrival at Yamunotri, take a holy bath at the hot water spring and then head for darshan at the temple. Soak in the spiritual aura of this holy place while enjoying the panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks. After darshan, you head towards Barkot and reach the hotel. Enjoy dinner and slip into your cozy bed for a restful sleep.
DAY 04: Barkot - Uttarkashi (83kms/ 3-4hr)
Greet the beautiful day with a hearty meal, check out from the hotel, and head towards Uttarkashi. It is renowned for its ashrams and temples. Enjoy the scenic views en route. On arrival in Guptkashi, complete the check-in formalities, and relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.
DAY 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs approx.)
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and head towards Gangotri. En route, take a halt at Gangnani and take a holy dip in a hot water spring. Further drive to Gangotri via the beautiful Harsil Valley, which is famous for its natural beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees, and mountains.
On arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, which is also called the Bhagirathi River. Visit the temple, perform pooja and enjoy darshan. Seek blessings from Goddess Ganga and relax for some time amidst serene surroundings.
Return back to Uttarkashi after the tiring day. Savor a scrumptious dinner and have a sound sleep in your bed.
DAY 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/ 7-8hr )
Post breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and head towards Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgaon. Enjoy the scenic views en route and also you can spot the beautiful Mandakini River at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath and it runs alongside the highway till Guptakashi.
On arrival in Guptkashi, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, you will visit Ardhnarishwar Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The presiding idol in the temple is half man and half woman, presenting Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Seek blessings at the temple and soak in the spiritual aura of this holy place.
Later, return to the hotel and relax for the night.
DAY 07: Guptkashi – Phata Helipad - Kedarnath – Phata (By Helicopter) – Guptkashi
Wake up early and start your day with a hearty meal. Later, head towards Phata helipad to board a helicopter for Kedarnath. On arrival at Kedarnath, visit the temple. Kedarnath Temple is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Seek blessings at the temple and spend some time amidst the spiritual aura.
After darshan, head towards the helipad to board the helicopter for Phata. On arrival at Phata, board the cab to head towards Guptkashi. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.
DAY 08: Guptkashi - Badrinath (184 kms / 7-8 hr)
Greet the beautiful day and savor a toothsome breakfast. Then, complete the check-out formalities from the hotel and head towards Badrinath via Joshimath, which is a winter seat of Lord Badri and a revered town.
On arrival at the Badrinath, check-in at the hotel and unwind. Later in the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple to attend Aarti. Before visiting the temple, visit Tapt Kund and take a holy dip in this natural thermal spring.
After attending the Aarti at the temple, visit the nearby attractions such as Narad Kund and Brahma Kapal. Also, visit Sheshnetra, Charan Paduka, Vasundhara, Vyas Gufa (cave), Bhim Pul, and Mata Murti Temple. If time permits, you can also visit Mana Village, which is inhabited by the Indo-Mongolian tribe and is the last Indian village before Tibet.
After the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel. Enjoy a delectable meal and have a sound sleep.
DAY 09: Badrinath –Rudraprayag (154 kms / 5-6hrs)
On the 9th day of the Char Dham Yatra from Hyderabad, wake up early in the morning, and leave for the temple. Before that, take a holy bath in the Tapt Kund. Then, visit the Badrinath Temple and attend the Aarti. Seek blessings from the Lord Badrinat
After darshan, visit the hotel and savor the hearty breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities and head towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. You can take a halt at Joshimath and visit the confluence of River Alaknanda and River Dhauli Ganga. Also, visit the temple of Nir Singh with the idol of Lord Vishnu.
Later, start your ride to Rudraprayag. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and unwind. The rest of the time is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (141 kms / 4-5 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rishikesh, which is also known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World.’ Rishikesh is a hub of many ancient and new temples, attracting thousands of pilgrims throughout the year.
On arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can attend Ganga Aarti at the Ghat in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 11: Rishikesh - Dehradun by Road and Fly to Hyderabad
This is the last day of the holy sojourn of 11 days 10 nights Char Dham Yatra from Hyderabad. Post breakfast, complete the check-out formalities at the hotel and then head towards Dehradun to take a flight for Hyderabad.
