Itinerary Details
Day 1: Baku

On the first day of the Land of fire tour, you will reach the Baku International Airport. Our tour representative will aid you in transferring to your hotel and once you check-in, you will have plenty of free time to explore the city on your own today. You can take a stroll on the streets of the city or visit the nearby market.

Day 2: Baku City Tour

Have your delicious breakfast before we proceed to visit the city of Baku. We will start with Icheri Sheher which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The old city of Baku is one of the most important cultural sites of Azerbaijan as some of the structures in this town is dated back to the 12th century. You will pass by the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshah Tower on your tour and also through the old Hamam (public baths).

The Multani Caravanserai and the Bukhara Caravanserai are the two medieval hotels that were constructed for merchants passing through the silk route. In this old city tour, you will discover many medieval buildings that will take you through a tour of the glorious times that this city has seen. You will also see the carpet shops and art galleries that are perched in narrow by-lanes of Icheri Sheher.

After having lunch you can spend the rest of the time at your wish. You can explore nearby places or spend sometime.

Day 3: Baku Temple Tour

Have your delicious breakfast before proceeding to visit Ateshgah. This is the famous fire temple of Baku and is a one of a kind temple that is built on top of a natural flame.

Many experts believe that this was a Zorastrian or a Hindu temple as the architecture of the temple resembles the architectural styles of these two faiths. The fire altar placed in the temple points to fire rituals being performed in the temple, the present structure is thought to have been built during the 17th and the 18th centuries.

The Heydar Aliyev Center is the iconic fluidic architectural marvel built by the famed architect Zaha Hadid. 619,000 sq. feet building was named after Heydar Aliyev who was the first president of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Day 4: Baku - Gabala City Tour – Baku

After having a baronial breakfast amongst wonderful natural beauty we will proceed to take a tour of the Gabala city.

The Nohurgol Lake is a picturesque green water lake situated amongst the Caucasus mountain range. The serene atmosphere surrounding the lake will take all the worries away from your mind. You can enjoy boating and fishing here.

The Tufandag Ski Resort is one of the most popular ski destinations in the country and it offers a marvelous view of the mountains from a cable car. You can also try your hand at skiing as they provide basic training here.

You will proceed towards Baku from here where a warm bed and a hot and steamy dinner awaits your presence.

Day 5: Baku – Gobustan – Baku

Today we will visit one of the most astounding places that you would have ever dreamt of seeing. After having a delicious breakfast, you will head towards the Gobustan Museum.

Gobustan Museum is a rich example of ancient artistry. The prehistoric rock drawings located in this museum are considered to be priceless and the government has hence declared the site as a site of national importance. There are more than 6000 rock specimens with some of them dating back to 500 years.

The mud volcanoes of Gobustan are a marvel in themselves. See steaming hot mudflow from the active volcanoes, a rare sight. Some 300 of the 700 mud volcanoes found in the world are located here.

Day 6: Departure
