Arunachal Pradesh Tribal Tour

After arrival at the Dibrugarh airport, meet our representative to arrange a smooth transfer to one of our listed hotels. Then, rest and relax for a while in the cozy comfort of the hotel room. Later in the day, head to visit the major tourist attractions of Dibrugarh, covering Radha Krishna Mandir, Tiling Mandir, Aye Than temple, and the Mahatma Gandhi Udyan.

In the evening, visit Jokai Botanical Garden, famous for its flora and fauna, run by the Forestry Department of Assam. Then, stay the night in the hotel in Dibrugarh.

On the 2nd day of the Arunachal Pradesh tour, you will start a drive to Namdapha by road after a hearty breakfast. On reaching Namdapha, have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Then, complete the check-in formalities at one of our listed resorts. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can relax in your resort room or take a stroll near the resort.

On the 3rd day, you will visit Namdapha National Park. You will proceed to explore the Chakma tribal village, which is situated on the outer fringes of the Namdapha National Park. Later in the day, you will visit Namdapha National Park, a biodiversity hotspot. Explore the rich flora and fauna of the national park while enjoying jeep safari. During the safari, you will be able to spot some of the exotic species of wildlife.

Later in the evening, return to the resort. Overnight stay at the resort in Namdapha.

The next morning after breakfast, head to visit Dibru Saikhowa, National Park. On reaching the national park, complete the check-in formalities at one of our listed resorts. Located in the Tinsukia district, the park serves as an ideal destination to spot many species of animals and birds while enjoying an elephant safari in the park. The park lies near the Brahmaputra River, which adds charms to its beauty.

In the evening, return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Sapakhowa ferry Ghat to board a ferry to cross the mighty Brahmaputra River to reach Sadiya. On reaching Sadiya, visit the major tourist attractions of Sadiya including Parashuram Kunda, Rukmini Island, Margherita, Na-Pukhuri, and the Lekhapani.

After the visit, continue to Roing. Upon reaching, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, proceed to visit the historical fort of Bhismaknagar. Later in the day, visit Nehru Van Udyan and the two historical ponds in the regions of Itapukhur and Padum Pukhuri. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner.

On the 6th day of the tour, after having breakfast, drive straight to Pasighat, the land of mighty Siang and indigenous hanging bridges. Upon reaching Pasighat, get accommodated at one of the pre-booked hotels. The major tourist attractions of Pasighat include Daying Ering Sanctuary, Komsing, and Kekar Moning. After the visit, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

On the 7th day of the tour, enjoy the breakfast and check out from the hotel. Later, drive to Along. Stop midway from visiting Adi Galo village, which is a tribal village. It remains unspoiled by the modern world, allowing you to have a close insight into the traditional way of these tribal lives.

After the visit, resume drive to Along. On reaching Along, check-in at one of our listed hotels. The major tourist attractions of Along include Patum Bridge, Mithun, and Jersey Cross Breeding Farm, Malinithan, Akashiganga, and the Mechuka valley. Next morning drive to Daporijo. The town is home to a large number of ethnic groups having their own culture and tradition. Daporijo is known for its beautiful lush green surroundings, having many picturesque places that are located here. Close to Daporijo town, there are a few caves which tourists visit. You may also enjoy trekking at some trekking spots around the town of Daporijo.

On the 9th day of the tour after enjoying breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and head towards Ziro. En route visit the Nyishi tribal villages. Nyishi tribe is the most populous tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. This vibrant community is famous for its cultural practices. Their attire can easily identify them.

Later, head towards Ziro and upon your arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can explore the nearby places and delve into the tranquility of the serene nature.

On the 10th day of the tour, you will head for trekking to Dzukou Valley. The valley is the perfect retreat blessed with lush green forest, crystal clear water, and panoramic views. After enjoying the majestic surroundings of the valley, you will visit the Apatani tribal villages in the afternoon. These villages are the melting pot of art and culture. Afterward, we will go back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Today, you will leave for a half- day safari into the national park, known as the last habitat of the Asiatic lion. During your safari, you will spot exotic animal species such as chousingha, spotted deer, chinkara gazelle, panther, wild boar along with beautiful avifauna species. The other visits of the day will be other nearby pastoral settlement of Maldhari and Sorathi Rabari along with Siddi village, known for its African inhabitants who came to Gujarat in medieval era. On the 12th day of the tour, after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and leave for Bomdila. Blessed with pleasant climate and adorned with ancient temples, wildlife sanctuaries, apple orchards, and lush green landscapes, Bomdila is a perfect retreat for nature lovers.

After this, you will visit Jaswant Garh and before reaching Tawang, you will also visit the Nuranang Fall, which is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the country.

On the 14th day of the tour, after having breakfast, you will embark on the sightseeing tour of the city and visit the famous tourist attractions, including Tawang Monastery and Urgelling Monastery. After a late lunch and refreshment, visit the Tawang War Memorial which is a 40 feet colorful structure and dedicated to all the martyrs of the Sino-India war of 1962.

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Zemithang. It is a Monpa settlement featuring large stone houses. Upon your arrival, take a leisurely walk in and around the village to have a close look at the simple lifestyle of the Monpa tribe. Spend some quality time with the locals and learn about their culture and history.

In the evening, return to Tawang for dinner and overnight stay.

Post breakfast, leave for Dirang. It is a beautiful hill station comprising Tribal Mahayana Monapas. On reaching Dirang, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Later, unwind yourself in the gorgeous surroundings of this majestic hill town. It is also used as a base camp for trekking and bird watching at Mandla. Also, visit the hot water springs to take a bath as it is believed that the water possesses medicinal properties.

On the 17th day of the tour, post breakfast you will proceed for the local sightseeing tour of Dirang including Sangti Valley, Apple Orchard, Kalachakra Gompa, and Hot Water Spring.

In the afternoon, you can visit the local market for shopping and buy some souvenirs for your loved ones.

On the 18th day of the Arunachal Pradesh tribal tour, post breakfast you will check out from the hotel and leave for Nameri. This beautiful place is snuggled in the foothills of the Himalayas. The speedy Jia Bhoroli River flows through the heart of this quaint little town. The prime tourist attractions of Nameri are adventure activities like River rafting, Jungle trekking on foot, and angling. This place is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts.

After the river rafting, you will return to the campsite for lunch. After lunch, you will go on a tour of Nameri National Park. You will visit to explore the nature trail along the reserve, where you will be accompanied by a forest guide and armed forest guard. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to spot the exotic wildlife species in their natural habitat. Here, one can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbills.
