Itinerary: 2 Days Tour to Ujjain

Day 1: Arrival in Ujjain

This is the first day of your Ujjain and our tour representative will meet you at the railway station or bus stand. You will have an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check in formalities and unwind. Relax for some time and then in the evening go for a sightseeing tour. Visit Kaal Bhairav Temple, which is located on the bank of the Kshipra River. This temple has a unique charm and liquor is offered here as a chadava to the idol of Kal Bhairava. After this, visit Maharshi Sandipani Ashram. This place is believed to be a learning center of Lord Krishna, Lord Balram, and Sudama (friend of Lord Krishna). There is a Gomti Kund near the ashram where Lord Krishna collected water from all the holy rivers so that his teacher need not travel off to far holy places.

Later, return to the hotel. Enjoy the delicious meal at the hotel and have a sound sleep in your bed.

Day 2: Ujjain – Mahakaleshwar - Ujjain

Wake up to a beautiful day and have a hearty meal at the hotel. Later, embark on the sightseeing tour of the day. Visit Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is among the most sacred abodes of Lord Shiva and is nestled on the bank of the Kshipra River. The idols of lord Ganesha, Lord Kartikeya, and Goddess Parvati are also installed in the sanctum sanctorum. Seek blessings from Lord Shiva and enjoy darshan at the temple. You can also attend Bashma aarti, which is held at 3 am in the temple. For this, you need to inform us in advance. Spend some quality time in pristine environs and soak in the spiritual aura of this holy place.

Later head towards the temple and complete the check out formalities. Head towards Ujjain and on arrival in the city, you will have an assisted transfer to the railway station or bus stand for your homebound journey and with this, your Ujjain tour culminates.
