Reshi Hot Spring

Reshi Hot Spring is located about 25 km from Gyalshing, near Reshi, on the banks of the Rangeet River. The water of these springs is high in sulfur content and is believed to have special therapeutic powers for skin diseases. To enjoy the waters, there are accommodations in choices of trekkers’ huts for the convenience of the tourists. Close to the springs is the Kah-do Sang phu, also known as the cave of the magic fairies, which is considered blessed by the local people.

Borong and Ralong Hot Spring

Borong and Ralong Hot Springs in Sikkim are popular with locals and visitors from all over the region. These natural steaming saunas are said to have curative powers. These two springs are located at a distance of 7 km. Borong Springs can be reached after a 7 km drive from Ralong and then a 40-minute walk downhill. The Ralong Springs can be born after an hour-long walk from the Ralong Monastery. For an overnight stay, temporary huts are available, but you must carry your bedding and cooking utensils.

Yumthang Hot Spring 

The famous Yumthang Hot Spring is located some distance away from Yumthang village. To reach the hot spring Yumthang, one must walk from the village’s road for a few minutes and cross the pedestrian bridge on the River Lachung. For the convenience of bathers, there is a hut with two pools that contain hot spring water. The hot spring Yumthang is rich in sulphurated hydrogen gas from the spring and is diverted to the pools.Yumthang Hot Spring is one of the most famous hot springs in Sikkim that surely deserves a place in your bucket for the Sikkim tour. 

Yumesamdong (or Momay Samdong)

A 25-kilometer drive up from Yumthang takes you to the Yume Samdong Hot Spring Sikkim at the base of the Donkia-la Pass. They are reputed to have more than ten hot springs pools nearby. However, the remote and snow-covered area almost all year round brings few people and not massive tourist crowds.
