Khatu Shyam Mandir

Located in Sikar, this temple is one of the most important religious sites in Rajasthan. It is built with white marble, making it an architectural wonder. The prayer hall called Jagmohan has beautiful mythological scenes painted on the walls. Also, as per the mythology, Khatu Shyam ji is the manifestation of the son of Ghatokacha, Barbarika. People say that if you pronounce his name from a pure heart, you will be blessed and have your troubles removed.

Bagore Sahib

It is a historical gurudwara where the 10th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed on his way to Punjab. This religious place for Sikhs is around 20 km from the Mandal town in Bagore Village. Guru Gobind Singh Ji has blessed this gurudwara.

Birla Temple

This is one of the most renowned religious sites of Rajasthan. Built on an elevated platform, this is designed completely in white marble and dominates the skyline of south Jaipur city. Birla Temple was commissioned by the Birlas, the famous industrialists, in 1988.

The temple is dedicated to Vishnu, also called Narayan, and his companion, Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and good fortune. The temple’s three domes represent three religions in India, paying homage to secular India.

Brahma Temple

Set in the city of Pushkar, this temple is dedicated to Lord Brahma and is built in white marble with silver coins. The four-faced (chaturmukhi) idol of the lord is placed in the inner sanctum. Also, a marble statue of the Sun God guards the temple. On your visit, you must notice that all the gods are barefoot while the Sun God, Surya, is shown wearing ancient warrior’s boots.

Digamber Jain Mandir

Located in Sanganer, Digamber Jain Temple houses the idol of Lord Adinath in the Padmasan (lotus position) posture. It is a seven-story temple built in red stone with intricate carvings. It also has sky-high ‘shikharas’ (spires), and its inner sanctum is a stone shrine with eight sky-high shikharas.

Hazrat Qamruddin Shah’s Dargah

This religious site in Rajasthan is a complex consisting of a mosque and madrasa built around a courtyard (which still has some of its original murals), with the ornate tomb of the Sufi saint Kamaruddin Shah. This place is located west of the Khetri Mahal, at the foot of the Nehara Pahar.

Jagdish Temple

This temple displays a fine example of the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. Jagdish Temple in Udaipur was built in 1651 and is one of the most popular attractions in Rajasthan. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Built by Maharana Jagat Singh I, the temple has exquisite architecture, including carved pillars, painted walls, and graceful ceilings.
