India – this country is so vast and so varied that there is always something or the other happening in some of part of the country at all times of the year. The month of August is no different. Many Trade Shows are held in August and most of them take place in the capital city of Delhi.
One of the most important Trade Shows in August is of course the Delhi Book Fair. This is the place to be for all book lovers. Different books belonging to an interesting variety of subjects are there for sale. Well known publishing houses not only from different parts of the country but also from other nations put up their stalls. Even the rarest of books that you might not have come across elsewhere will be sighted here. From prose to poetry, from classic to contemporary, from science fictions to romantic novels, from books written by acclaimed authors to those written by controversial novelists, there is stunning diversity on offer.
Just as there is variety in the books sold at the book fair, likewise there is much variety in the Trade Shows in August. At the same time Stationary Fair and Sajavat Fair are organized. As is suggested by the very name, the Sajavat Fair exhibits decorative items that include furnishings, linens, furniture and others, precisely all that embellishes the interiors of your room. Cosmetics that help enhance the beauty of your looks are also there on sale. Several national and international brands are participants in this fair. Pen, pencil, paper and all stationery products like that is required in offices and educational institutions are sold at the Stationary Fair.
Another prime Trade fair in August is the Arogya Fair. At this health fair jointly organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization and the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, one can come to know a lot about Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy and all other alternative medical treatments. Books, diet supplements are there for sale.
Yet another one of the Trade Shows in August is the Autumn Show. This however is held in Mumbai and displays all kinds of food products including processed food. Brands well known within and without the country set up stalls but there are many first timers too. For them this is an excellent opportunity to showcase their products in front of so many visitors.
