4 Days Muscat Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Muscat
Fly to Muscat International Airport and after immigration, you will meet an Indian Holiday representative to get assistance to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Muscat City Tour
Post breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel for a half-day Muscat city tour. Visit the famous Grand Mosque, one of the top attractions in Muscat. It is one of the few mosques in Oman that permits any visitors (non-Muslims and of any religion) inside its prayer halls. Witness the handmade carpets, the ceiling of the great dome, and the chandeliers here.
Afterward, drive along the waterfront Corniche to visit Muttrah Souq. Next, proceed towards Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos for a photo stop. End the tour with a visit to Bait Al Zubair Museum to get glimpses into Oman's history. Then, you will be driven back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight sleep.
Note: Grand Mosque tour is not possible on Fridays and other public holidays. Also, ladies are required to be fully covered and to carry a headscarf. Men should wear trousers.
Day 3: Marina Tour
Day 3 of your Muscat travel package is reserved for whale and dolphin watching at Marina. Enjoy a boat ride and spend the day witnessing wild dolphins and many species of whales. Soak in the natural beauty of the sea and learn more about marine mammals. After the tour, get back to the hotel and hop onto the bed for a restful sleep.
Day 4: Departure from Muscat
Your Simply Muscat tour ends today. Post breakfast, get transferred to the international airport and catch a flight back home with memorable times in Oman.
