After checking in, you can spend the rest of your time at leisure in the comfort of the hotel. Later, you can retire, anticipating the next day.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
The second day is reserved for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. In the morning, you visit the Pashupatinath temple, which is considered very sacred and represents the Hindu culture in Nepal. Visiting this temple is one of the highlights of our Kathmandu tour package. You will see the Hindu saddhus praying and cremating along the banks of the River Baghmati. Then, you proceed to Bouddhanath, a Buddhist shrine in Nepal. Many Buddhists make a pilgrimage to this spot. You then leave for Patan or Lalitpur; this region is more beautiful and separated from Kathmandu by the Bahmati River.
In Lalitpur, the intricate architecture distinguishes it from other parts of Nepal; the central square is filled with temples with elaborate designs. In Patan, you'll find a settlement of Tibetan refugees who are wealthy carpet industry merchants. The carpets are colorful, detailed, and durable.
The other attraction you visit is the Swayambhunath, an ancient religious complex atop a hill. It is prominent with its dome structure and a golden spire, adorned with colorful prayer flags and preset a striking view of the city. Swayambhunath is one of the most exciting features of Nepal, for the eyes painted on the tower seem like they are watching you all the time. After a hectic day, you return to the hotel and stay overnight.

The main characteristic of the place is its location, which is 2,174 meters and offers a magnificent view of the ranges, including Mt Everest. Nature lovers will love this place, so we included it in our Nepal, Kathmandu tour package. On the way up to Nagarkot, you stop by Bhaktapur; the city is still stuck in the medieval era.
