Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet an Indian Holiday representative who'll assist you with a private transfer to the pre-listed hotel. Once you reach the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa (one of the largest Stupas). Afterwards, return to the hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Kathmandu - Pokhara (201 km/ 6 hours 52 minutes)
This morning, after breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara.Renowned for its stunning beauty, Pokhara is often described as 'the jewel in the Himalayas.' Its clear air, spectacular snowy peaks, serene lakes, and lush greenery make it a remarkable destination. With the magnificent Annapurna range as a backdrop and three major lakes, namely, Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas, Pokhara is the ultimate destination for relaxation.
Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara in the afternoon, including Bindebasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and Devi's Falls. You are free to stroll around the lakeside area for the rest of the day. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 3: Pokhara - Jomsom (158 km/ 5 hours 23 minutes)
Today, have an early breakfast, check out, and proceed towards Jomsom in a private jeep. Admire the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival in Jomsom, complete the check-in and unwind. Spend the rest of the day at your discretion, exploring nearby areas or relaxing in your room. Enjoy an overnight stay in Jomsom.
Day 4: Jomsom - Muktinath - Pokhara (196 km/ 6 hours 20 minutes)
After breakfast, drive to Muktinath in a private Jeep (6 pax per jeep), which takes around one hour. You can also visit Kagbeni. A 30-45 minute stop will be provided in Muktinath for a holy darshan, aarti, puja, and snan.
Muktinath, sacred to Hindus and Buddhists, lies 3,710 meters in the Muktinath Valley at the foot of the Thorong La pass. It is known as Mukti Kshetra, or "place of liberation," as it is the 105th of the 108 Divya Desams revered by Sri Vaishnavas. After rituals at the temple, return to Pokhara for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Pokhara - Kathmandu (222 km/ 8 hours 15 minutes)
Start your day with an early breakfast, check out, and hit the roads to Kathmandu. On the way, visit Manakamana Devi temple in Gorkha (cable car tickets payable directly). Dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati, the temple has been revered since the 17th century for fulfilling wishes. After darshan, continue with the drive to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 6: Departure from Kathmandu
Your Nepal Tour with Muktinath and Pashupatinath Darshan Yatra concludes here. After a leisurely breakfast, pack your belongings and complete the check-out procedure. Then, you'll get a timely transfer in a private vehicle to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward flight.
