6 Days Mauritius Family Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Mauritius
Today is the first day of your Mauritius trip for a family. You will arrive at the Mauritius Airport where you will be greeted by our smiling tour representative who will be more than happy to guide you to your resort.
Once you freshen up, you can choose to spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Explore the surroundings of the resort, feel the cool breeze of the Indian Ocean refresh your senses or just finished that book that you always wanted to finish by lying down on the sandy beach.
Allow our chefs to serve you delicious Mauritian cuisine which includes ravishing seafood as well as other vegetarian options during the night.
Overnight stay will be at your hotel in Mauritius.
Day 2: Mauritius: Enjoy Ile aux Cerfs activities
Have a baronial breakfast that awaits you at the breakfast table. Today you will visit the Ile aux Cerf Island which is an exotic Island in Mauritius. This paradise island is a 100-hectare prime piece of land located amidst blue waters and is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can enjoy various water sports activities like snorkeling, swimming, surfing, underwater diving and speed boat (charges extra) on this beautiful island.
You can also choose to just have a relaxing time by lying down on the fine powdery white sand of this wonderful beach Paradise. You can try some local cuisine here and give your taste buds a tantalizing experience.
Later in the evening return to your resort for overnight stay.
Day 3: Mauritius: A full day North Island tour
On the third day of your Mauritius family tour package, you will explore the wonders of Port-Louis which is the capital of Mauritius.
Enjoy a salivating breakfast before you proceed towards this famous city. The first destination of the day would be Fort Adelaide which is a beautiful remnant of the colonial era. The old-world charm of fort Adelaide is still intact amongst modern Mauritius.
Located on the top of La Petite Montagne, this picturesque little fort is considered to be one of the best places to visit in Mauritius. Built-in 1834 the fort provides a 360-degree view of the entire Island and has been named after the wife of King William IV. This fort is one of the four remaining forts in Mauritius which have survived since the colonial era.
One of the most iconic places in Mauritius the place D'Armes stretches from the hotel du government to the Port Louis waterfront. Beautiful palm trees and exquisite French colonial buildings are dotted on the road leading to the Place D'Armes. This is the very place where you will find statues of some of the most famous personalities of Mauritius including a statue of Queen Victoria and the statue of colonial governor Mahe de Labourdonnais.
You will then proceed towards the Le Caudan waterfront. This place is a unique shopping mall that is a nice example of a combination of modern architecture as well as rich Victorian-style architecture. The shopping mall is replete with shops that are selling local handmade Mauritian goods as well as products from international luxury brands.
After having a fun-filled day at Port Louis we return to our hotel to rekindle our energies and have a hearty dinner.

Day 4: Mauritius: Go for a South Island tour
After having a delicious breakfast you will proceed towards the South Island on a day-long excursion. The first destination will be Ganga Talao or Grand Bassin in Mauritius. This is a huge crater lake which is located at a height of 550 meters above sea level amongst the mountains of Savanna. Small temples dedicated to Hindu God Lord Shiva and other important gods dot the landscape of the Grand Bassin. A huge statue of Lord Shiva (33 meters) stands tall at this Ganga Talao. Every year during Mahashivratri thousands of devotees make the difficult journey from the bottom of the mountain to Ganga Talao. The view from the top of the mountain from Ganga Talao is magnetic and will stay with you during your lifetime.
Another famous destination in Mauritius is the Trou aux Cerfs volcano, which is a dormant volcano located at a distance of 1 km from the town of Curepipe. The volcanic crater is around 600 meters above sea level and has a diameter of 350 meters and is 100 meters deep. The lush green bushes surrounding this volcanic crater along with a jogging park and a crater lake give the visitor a majestic sight which includes the resplendent view of this Rampart Mountain and Port Louis City.
Appreciate the unparalleled beauty of Mauritius while you sit on a wooden kiosk at the jogging park. The next destination would be the Chamarel Waterfall which is a beautiful water body surrounded by thick green bushes and hard rock mountains. Another world-famous tourist destination in Mauritius is the Chamarel seven colored earth. This seven-colored Earth formation is a natural phenomenon that attracts thousands of tourists to Mauritius. This phenomenon occurs due to the conversion of lava into clay minerals. A small area of sand dunes comprises distinctly colored sand which includes colors such as violet, blue, purple, green, brown, red and yellow.
Return to your hotel after another exciting day where your bed invites you to sleep.

Day 5: Mauritius: Casela Nature Parks
On the 5th day of the family holiday package to Mauritius, you will head towards the Casella Nature Parks. Enjoy your lip-smacking breakfast before you proceed towards the nature park. The Casela Nature Parks will take you on a tropical African experience and fulfill your desire for adventure. The mountain adds to the enamoring beauty of this already beautiful natural Park which is spread over 250 hectares and is known as Casela world of adventures.
An exciting blend of nature, wildlife, and adventure the Casela Nature Parks has its waterfall, animal enclosures, and canyon and will provide you with an ambiance like an African forest. You can interact with the lions in the Casela Nature Parks. Touching the king of the Jungle is a heart-racing experience, one which you will never forget for the rest of your life. Along with the lions you can also interact with the tigers and Rhinos in the Casela Nature Parks.
Go on a safari quad biking adventure where you will drive a quad bike to explore the wildlife of the Casela Nature Parks. You will observe animals like zebras, wild boars, African antelopes and ostriches in this one hour ride.
Want to experience something new? Then go on a Segway Safari Trip which will let you explore the wonders of the Casela Nature Parks up-close. Feed the giraffe and go on a mud riding expedition in this adventurous Nature Park. For those who get bored easily, you can also have a canyon swing experience.
Retire for the night in your hotel after a fun-filled day.
Day 6: Mauritius: Departure
Enjoy the delicacies breakfast for one last time as today is the last day of your tour. Our tour representative will assist you in transferring to the airport from where you will take your homebound flight. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Mauritius for one last time from your flight and we are sure that the memories that this trip has given you will be cherished by you for the rest of your life.
